For Celeste, it was the latter. Sometimes, the pain was so intense it made her vomit.
Caitlin gently took Celeste's wrist to check her pulse. After a moment, she said, "It's not too severe. Some medicine should take care of it."
"Really?" Celeste's eyes lit up. "Catie, you can treat period cramps?" She'd seen doctors before, but they'd all told her there was no quick fix, just long-term management and painkillers for when it got unbearable.
"Of course," Caitlin said with a smile. "It's not a complicated condition."
Celeste threw her arms around Caitlin and planted a kiss on her cheek. "Catie, you're a lifesaver!"
"You rest here," Caitlin said. "I'll go get what we need." The suite had a kitchen, which made brewing an herbal remedy convenient.
"Okay, Catie!" Celeste wanted to go with her, but her stomach hurt too much. "I'll wait for you at the hotel. Be safe out there by yourself."
"I will. I'll be back soon." Caitlin grabbed her bag and left the hotel.
Finding the right herbs in Valerium wasn't too difficult, though the variety wasn't as extensive as it was back home. Fortunately, the remedy for cramps was simple. Two hours later, Caitlin returned to the hotel with everything she needed.
The elevator was waiting on the ground floor. The moment she pressed the button, the doors slid open. She stepped inside and selected the top floor. Just as the doors were about to close, a man hurried over, pressing the open button and holding his body between the doors. He then made a respectful gesture, inviting someone else to enter.
A moment later, a figure stepped into the elevator.
The man was in his mid-twenties, wearing a black fedora whose wide brim shadowed a chiseled face. His blue eyes were deep and mysterious, seeming to pull you in. Dressed in a long tailored coat and holding a jewel-encrusted cane, he looked like a classic aristocrat.
The man was none other than Will Windsor, the youngest Lord of the Windsor family.
Ham jogged to catch up with Caitlin. "Excuse me, beautiful lady, could you wait a moment?"
Caitlin stopped. "Are you talking to me?"
"Yes," Ham nodded.
"What is it?"
Ham stopped in front of her. "My name is Ham, and I'm Mr. Will's assistant. My master is quite taken with you and was hoping he could have your contact information."

So happy for Carey, the reunion with her family is touching. Can we read more of Caitlin and Gordon? Readers are forgetting that Caitlin has a boyfriend by the way. Is it normal for their relationship to be erased in the storyline?...
Update please......
But where is Gordon?...
Great story, great author!...
