THE DIVORCE GAMBIT From Dumped Wife to CEO's Forever novel Chapter 803

Celia had never liked social climbers. She disliked both the Vance family and Rosemary.

What kind of good people could a family that betrayed their own country be?

So when the invitation from the Vance family arrived, she hadn't paid it much mind, planning to just have the butler send a gift in her place.

But if Caitlin wanted to go.

She absolutely had to go with her!

Hearing this, Caitlin said, "That sounds great. Thank you for the trouble, Celia."

"We're friends, don't mention it!" Celia then looked at Celeste. "March, do you want to come along?"

Celeste was busy eating a strawberry pudding. She quickly waved her hands. "No, no! You two are going to Vance Castle for a reason. What would I do there?"

Get in the way?

Celeste continued, "I'll just stay here at the hotel, play games, and wait for you to come back."

She had recently gotten hooked on an escape room game and was working great with her teammates, playing for three or four hours every day.

"Alright then." Celia nodded, then turned back to Caitlin. "By the way, Freya, I have a personal question for you."

"What is it?" Caitlin asked.

Celia was not one to beat around the bush, so she asked directly, "What do you think of Brock as a person?"

"Huh?" As if she hadn't expected such a question, Caitlin froze for a moment, not quite processing it.

After all.

Including the time she treated him, she had only met Brock twice and exchanged no more than a dozen sentences with him.

Celia's sudden question had truly caught her off guard.

At these words, Celeste immediately smelled gossip. She looked at Celia and asked jokingly, "Celia! Did Brock fall for Catie?"

Celia nodded. "That's right. Brock fell for Freya at first sight."

Celeste covered her mouth and looked at Caitlin. "Catie, oh Catie! You're really on a lucky streak with love lately."

Love at first sight!

First Will, now Brock.

What was this if not a streak of romantic luck?

And both men were one in a million.

"A lucky streak?" Celia's interest was piqued. "What's going on? Is someone else pursuing Freya too?"

Celeste grinned. "Yep."

"Who? Who's chasing Freya?" Celia asked immediately.

She was incredibly curious.

Celeste stroked her chin and narrowed her eyes. "Actually, you might even know him!"

Know him?

She knew far too many people.

For a moment, Celia really couldn't guess.

"Who is it?" Celia was even more curious now. "March, stop keeping me in suspense!"

Celeste continued, "It's Will."

Celia was stunned by the answer.

She found it hard to believe.

Will was, after all, the most courteous noble in Valerium. And just as gentlemanly as he was handsome

Although he was a bit of a womanizer, Celia thought a great beauty like Caitlin could surely conquer him.

She never expected that Caitlin would actually reject him!

Will was Rosemary's Prince Charming. If Rosemary found out about this, she would probably die of anger.

Caitlin was likely the first person in Valerium to ever turn Will down.

Comparisons truly are the thief of joy!

"Freya, you're amazing!" Celia gave Caitlin a thumbs-up. "Rejecting even Will, you're a role model for us all."

Caitlin smiled faintly. "Keep it on the down-low."

Celia collected herself and asked again, "Freya, does that mean Brock doesn't have a chance either?"

If Caitlin rejected even Will, what chance could Brock possibly have...

Compared to Will, Brock's greatest advantage was probably that he'd only ever had one girlfriend.

And it was a platonic relationship at that.

"That's right," Caitlin nodded slightly. "But that's okay, Celia. A great guy like Brock will have no shortage of girlfriends in the future."

"Hahahaha!" Celia laughed. "I'll accept this 'nice guy' card on Brock's behalf."

After saying that, Celia looked at Caitlin. "Freya, Brock is actually a really good person. He may not be as powerful as the Windsors, but he's much more reliable than Will. Will has had at least eighty girlfriends, if not a hundred. My brother has only had one. If you ever feel like dating, you can let me know anytime!"
