At his order, two officers moved forward with handcuffs for Diana and Rosemary.

He continued, "And it's not just Audley. The former Chief and Deputy Chief were also removed for dereliction of duty. If you want to see Audley, you can join him in his cell!"

"What?" Diana's eyes widened in disbelief.

She finally processed Sanger's earlier introduction: new Chief. She had assumed it was just a routine change in leadership. She never imagined that the Chief and Deputy Chief had also been swept up in this affair.
