Just then, Celine and Bella ran over. "Hailey, what happened?"
Hailey reassured her, "Celine, I'm fine."
She turned back to look at the masked man, but he had already taken off the moment he finished dealing with the two attackers.
"Who are you?" Hailey called out.
The masked man hesitated for a brief moment but didn't turn around.
Watching him disappear into the distance, Hailey spoke again, "Who are you? Do we know each other?"
Yet, there was no answer.
Hailey added, "Thank you for saving me…"
Still, the man didn't respond. He simply walked away, leaving her with nothing but a cold and distant silhouette.
Celine had already called the police. She stepped forward, studying Hailey. "Hailey, do you know the man who saved you?"
Hailey shook her head. "I don't know."
Bella spoke up. "Hailey, I'm glad you're okay."
Hailey gently patted Bella's little head.
Celine looked at Hailey with concern. "Hailey, the police will handle this. These men came after you with knives. I'll find out who hired them. Let's go home for now."
Celine tried to lead Hailey away, but Hailey stopped. "Celine, I have something to do. I'll go ahead."
Celine grabbed Hailey's arm. "Hailey, where are you going? Are you going to find that man?"
Meanwhile, Melody hid in the shadows, seething with anger. She had hired the two men to ruin Hailey's beautiful, delicate face. She was so close to succeeding, yet a masked man suddenly appeared and saved Hailey, ruining everything.
…
Hailey ran out of the restaurant and into the busy street. People bustled around her, and she weaved through the crowd, searching for that familiar figure.
She wondered if the man who saved her was Declan, but the crowded street had already swallowed any trace of him.
Hailey pushed through the crowd, calling out, "Declan? Declan!"
No one answered.
Then, across the street, Hailey spotted that familiar figure again. Without hesitation, she darted across the road.
Just as she was halfway across, a sharp honking noise sounded. Hailey turned just in time to see a car speeding toward her.

The readers' comments on the novel: The Divorce Prescription (Celina and Adam)
How can this be,Carly always gets away with everything and Celine intelligence is not working her at all....
Just as I thought. This could go on a few more chapters. But the bond between Fiona amd Celine is undeniable. Even without knowing that they are mother and daughter. Though I'm totally confused. Isn't there any resemblance between Celine and her parents? How couldn't they tell that she was their daughter?...
As expected of the dna results in favor of the wicked carly again.. so frustrating...
I hope the writer of this story will not prolong this…..what happened to the DNA…...
Can you upload more chapters per day, each chapter is very short you always keep us hanging...
Can’t wait for when Nigel will discover Celine is his child...
I was enjoying Celine being a formidable woman until the author put her abuser back in her way to make it seem she is weak willed with no physical control. This saddens me....
Regardless of how "sorry" the abusive man is. His regret is his own burden to carry....
When a woman divorces a man because he ill treated her, authors of these books, should stop making a women look desperate to go back with the abusive man. The real world is not like that. Many many women value themselves too much to return to their abusers....
Please this story is going round in circles……this writer🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️...
