Chapter 574 The Face on the Screen
“…I don’t know.”
Cramer avoided Eliza’s gaze, his tone turning cold. It was clear he had no intention of letting her press the matter further.
Eliza already knew he had agreed to grant Wendy access to some channels. She didn’t yet know which ones, but his reaction confirmed they were shady, something that couldn’t be shown in the open.
“Mr. Cullinan, you’re not keeping secrets from us, are you?” Eliza asked. “Wendy has spent years in pharmaceuticals, and now suddenly she’s running an entertainment company. Doesn’t that strike you as strange? All her overseas factories were shut down–where do you think that industry was moved?”
Cramer’s answer was flat. “That’s not what we agreed to. My goal is only to send Wendy back to Westbrook. Isn’t that what you want too? As long as she doesn’t interfere with me, I won’t go after her too hard. As for those overseas factories… I truly don’t know.”
His evasiveness only deepened Eliza’s suspicion. Saint Corp was hiding something, and Cramer had no intention of telling her the truth.
On the surface, she pretended not to notice. After a quick meal, Cramer left for the company.
The moment he was gone, Eliza went upstairs.
Vivian was waiting for her. The instant Eliza opened her door, Vivian rushed over. “Ms. Rivers, did I do something wrong just now?”
“I already told you–don’t take this etiquette too seriously,” Eliza said. “The more perfect you act in front of Cramer, the more he’ll connect it back to Wendy. He may not suspect now that you and Wendy staged everything, but later he might. If he ever thinks it was all an act, then everything we’ve done will be for nothing.”
Vivian went pale. Thank goodness Eliza had stepped in earlier. If Cramer had seen her perform so flawlessly, he would have suspected she’d been trained by Wendy long ago. Then, just like before, he would have despised her.
“Ms. Rivers, I’ll do exactly as you say from now on. I won’t make mistakes again,” Vivian promised quickly.
Eliza nodded.
Just then, sudden cries from a studio audience rang out on the television.

Chapter 574 The Face on the Screen
Eliza’s eyes drifted to the screen–and froze.
There, on the broadcast, was the woman being promoted by Wendigo Corp: the masked star Sofia.
So Wendy had already launched her.
And she had debuted at her peak. The moment she appeared in public, she became an overnight sensation. With her striking beauty and fiery figure, she had captured the hearts of countless fans.
“Nolan…”
“I’ve already looked into it,” Nolan said beside her. “The teaser dropped last night. Today she appeared out of nowhere, and her popularity skyrocketed. Of course Wendigo Corp bought trending spots, but the buildup had started days ago. This morning, the masked–girl topic passed ten million hits.”
Eliza stared at those eyes on the screen. The more she looked, the more certain she felt–Sofia was Naomi.
“Vivian, have you ever seen this sister before?”
“Never.” Vivian shook her head. “Mom never let me meet outsiders. I’ve never seen her. If I had, I would definitely remember. A woman that beautiful–you couldn’t forget her after one glance.”
Eliza’s eyes lingered on the woman on the screen. For a moment, it felt like Sofia was staring right back at her. The gaze sent a chill down her spine.
But Eliza said nothing more.
Instead, she returned to her room with Nolan.
They hadn’t been back to Westbrook in some time. Halbert had already called, urging her not to linger overseas. She still had her studies back home.
Eliza was already weighing it. Perhaps they should return to Westbrook first, clear up the matters there, and only then return abroad. Wendy wasn’t going to be caught anytime soon.
Seeing the worry in her face, Nolan said gently, “Whatever you decide, I’ll be with you. I know you want to go back to Westbrook and sort this out. Naomi is a ticking time bomb. It’s only natural you want the truth.”
