The Mischievous Doctor (Finnegan and Nuthana) novel Chapter 434

As nightfall receded, the first light of dawn began to appear.

The raging storm had significantly subsided.

“Are you sure you've neutralized all of my poison?”

Tatiana couldn't stand by while Sunny was killed and had to compromise. She looked pale and weak as she gazed at Finnegan. Her eyes no longer held a killing intent, only resignation and bitterness.

She never imagined that one day she would be at the mercy of a young man.

She felt utterly helpless!

Finnegan snorted. “We had no personal grudge to begin with as everything started from the bounty. Now that you've had the Blood Moon call off their hit on me, why would I still be after your life?”

He paused, a hint of amusement playing on his lips. “But you're not going to leave here and immediately take on another bounty, are you?”

With a slightly cold expression, Tatiana said, “Revoking the bounty has already been embarrassing. If I take it up again, won't people mock me for a lifetime?”

“So, why would I want you dead? Do you pose any threat to me?”

Although Tatiana had taken the Dissipation Pill and eliminated the poison, her strength was now reduced to less than twenty percent of its peak.

To fully recover, it would take at least two or three years.

At the words, Tatiana's expression eased a little.

However, her gaze toward Finnegan remained unfriendly. “I really don't understand why Mr. Sawyer Aiello would take you as his disciple. You're despicable!”

Finnegan said in a deep voice, “It's not your place to question why the old man did what he did. Secondly, mind your own business. Otherwise, I won't hesitate to chop Mr. Lambert into mincemeat!”

He could see that Tatiana cared little about her own life but was concerned about Sunny.

Indeed, the color drained from Tatiana's face, and she dared not make any more threats. “Can we leave now?” she asked.

“Sure, go ahead!” Finnegan gestured for her to leave.

Tatiana snorted icily. Supported by Sunny who had a resigned expression, she prepared to leave.

As she reached the door, she turned back and said, “Finnegan, don't celebrate too soon. Although the Blood Moon has called off the assassination, your bounty is still posted on UnderNet. I believe that Silent Dusk would be very interested in this bounty of a billion!”

Silent Dusk was the world's number one assassin organization.

A playful smirk tugged at the corner of Finnegan's mouth. “I heard that Silent Dusk is close to Blood Moon. How about you sell me Silent Dusk's address? When they actually come to kill me, I'll take them down myself.”

Tatiana's expression changed as she looked away. “Let's go!”

Sunny nodded. “Goodbye.”

As Finnegan watched the two depart, the smile on his face gradually faded away.

A faint murderous intent gradually surfaced in his eyes. “Walter, I'm somewhat reluctant to let them go!”

Although Tatiana posed no threat at the moment, Sunny was undeniably a Senior Grandmaster in the Ether Realm.

What if they harbored resentment in their hearts after that? What would I do then?

Walter understood Finnegan's meaning and said, “Don't worry about this. They only disregard principles and boundaries when carrying out assassination missions. They still abide by the rules in normal times.”

Pausing for a moment, he lowered his voice and added, “Moreover, killing them would be easy, and there would be no need to make enemies with Silent Dusk and Blood Moon.”

“So, what was the relationship between these two major assassin organizations?”

Walter replied with a solemn expression, “The founder of Silent Dusk is the senior sister of both of them. All three originated from the world's strongest assassin organization a century ago, Angel of Death.”

Same period as Sawyer?

Having said that, Walter vanished in a flash, disappearing without a trace like a phantom.

Looking at the mud and blood stains on his body, Finnegan realized he had spent yet another sleepless night.

Rubbing his temples, he returned to his room.

As soon as he entered the door, he heard the sound of water coming from the bathroom.

Glancing at the bathroom subconsciously, he saw Alisha soaking in the bathtub, revealing a glimpse of her shoulder.

“What are you doing? It's one thing to take a bath here, but can't you close the door?”

Alisha let out a resentful huff. “You've seen it all before. So what if I don't close the door? Moreover, last night you completely disregarded me. You wouldn't have cared even if Sunny had killed me. What's wrong with me nursing my sorrows here in the bath?”

Pausing for a moment, she teased, “Or are you afraid that Bernice will find out I bathed in the bathtub she used?”

Finnegan snorted. “Looks like you're confused. This is Dragon Bay No. 2 Villa, and I'm just staying here temporarily.”

Blinking her eyes, Alisha finally realized that this was the Dragon Bay No. 2 Villa which belonged to the Langdon family.

Finnegan couldn't be bothered to argue with her. “Is everything from last night settled?”

Alisha replied nonchalantly, “Don't worry. Those who stood guard here last night were all loyal to the Wahlstrom family. Besides, many people fainted and didn't hear anything, and those who did wouldn't go around spreading rumors.”

Nodding his head, Finnegan turned around. “Let's leave it at that. I'm going to rest now.”

“Hey, isn't this your room?”

“No, it's your room now!”
