Before going in, Savannah shot Anthony a look, making it clear he needed to keep his mouth shut once they were inside.
Anthony rolled his eyes. “I’m not the kind of guy who spills secrets.”
“Sure, if you say so.”
When they reached the Ross family’s place, Colton and Ava opened the door with big smiles, ushering everyone inside.
Jeremy came with his hands full of gifts. Colton shook his head. “You really didn’t need to bring all this. We just wanted you to come have dinner.”
Jeremy grinned. “I couldn’t show up empty-handed. Please, don’t worry about it.”
Colton took the bags. “Come on in and make yourselves comfortable. Dinner’s almost ready.”
A couple of dishes were still being prepped, so Greg went to the kitchen to lend a hand. Felicia greeted everyone, moving around the living room.
Savannah tugged Felicia over to the couch. “You look so much better lately, honestly. Did those things I gave you help?”
Felicia nodded. “They really did. Thank you.”
“I’m glad. You look great.”
They all sat around chatting, laughter filling the room until dinner was finally ready.
Everyone gathered at the table. Colton poured wine for each guest and raised his glass. “Felicia is so lucky to have friends like all of you. Thank you for taking care of her. And Mr. Milman, I especially appreciate you giving her this chance.”
Jeremy stood up, looking a little embarrassed. “Colton, there’s no need to thank me. Felicia is amazing on her own. I just introduced her, that’s all.”
Colton smiled. “Still, I’m grateful. I hope you’ll keep looking out for her, and this toast is for you.”
Jeremy accepted, clinking glasses and taking a sip.
Colton made sure to toast Anthony and Luke too. Once he was in a good mood, he never really watched how much he drank. Ava didn’t even try to stop him this time. It was a special night, and she had a few drinks too.
Felicia joined in with her glass of juice, raising it to everyone. In her toughest days, she’d always had people who loved her by her side. Their care had given her the courage to move forward.
By nine, Jeremy and the others started to say their goodbyes. Since everyone had been drinking, they called for drivers to get home.
Felicia walked them to the door, then Greg saw them out to the elevator.
Luke called back, “Greg, you should go back inside.”

Update pls...
The story is a drag. How can they write crap like this where the female lead is like a lapdog, and the male lead is a complete trash? They use a child to blackmail the mother into staying. The female lead should not go back to the trashy male lead. I would prefer her to be with Jeremy....
Hey. Thank you for updating this novel here. Request you to update a big bulky lot of chapters please. It is such an interesting novel that 10 per day is simply not enough. Thanks again...
