Greg leaned back, thoughtful. “Sunlight Tech got bought by IronGate Industries this year. We were about to sign a deal with Greenway Electrical Services for the GN project, but now Sunlight Tech is trying to get in on it. So, things are up in the air.”

Sunlight Tech used to be an industry leader, way before Greenway made its name. But then their R&D hit a dead end, and some drama at the top sent the company downhill.

Greg didn’t see it as a great thing for Sunlight Tech, since IronGate had never touched tech before. Greg heard Darin himself was running their team. Rumor was, IronGate had been a mess lately, with all kinds of power plays and backstabbing at the top. The Sunlight Tech deal was Darin’s first step in grabbing control.

Anyone who was tight with Max wasn’t going to be easy to deal with.

Luke set his controller down, looking at Greg. “Sounds like you’re up against a real challenge this time.”

Greg just grinned. “I’ve weathered a lot worse.”
