Jeremy handed the stroller to Heather. “If you need anything, just call me.”

Heather nodded. “Alright. Yara, say bye to your uncle.”

Yara gave Jeremy a cheerful wave. “Bye, Uncle Jeremy.”

Jeremy ruffled Yara’s hair, smiling fondly before heading off. Luke turned to Felicia, his expression softening. “Call me when you’re ready to leave and I’ll come pick you up.”

Felicia nodded, and Luke left after saying his goodbyes.

Heather buckled Yara into the stroller and steered them into the mall. She leaned closer, her voice teasing. “So, are you guys living together now?”

Felicia shot her a look. “We just live in the same neighborhood.”

Heather smirked, unable to hide her amusement. “Oh sure. Same neighborhood, huh? Not much of a difference, is there?”

Felicia gave her a warning stare. “What exactly are you getting at?”

Heather just grinned. “Nothing. Just curious.”

Luke used to fly to the States to visit Felicia, so Heather had gotten to know him pretty well over time. Luke’s feelings for Felicia were obvious to everyone, but Felicia only cared about her career these days. Romance just wasn’t on her radar, which was fine by Heather. She still secretly hoped to set Felicia up with her own brother instead.

“Oh, by the way, do you even realize how much you’re trending online right now?”

Felicia barely had time to keep up with the news, but she’d seen her name blowing up that morning. Hosting the finance show last night, plus her appearance at the summit a couple days ago, had sent her popularity through the roof. She’d immediately called someone to try and get it all taken down. The last thing she wanted was to become some kind of public figure.

Heather grinned. “I’m telling you, whenever Evelynn steps into the spotlight, she’s always the brightest one there.”
