Felicia stepped into the office, perfectly composed on the outside. But what she saw made her pause. The huge office was filled with all kinds of little girl things. The white walls were covered in colorful drawings and stickers. Building blocks were scattered on the carpet. There was even a Minion robot sitting off to the side.
Max was at his desk, focused on work. Anne sat quietly on her own little sofa, chatting with the robot in French. When the door opened, Max looked up and saw Felicia walk in. She looked so put together today, dressed in a crisp white blouse and tailored slacks, her hair swept up in a neat bun. There was something so sharp and professional about her, every feature perfectly in place.
Felicia felt his gaze but kept her cool, forcing herself not to glance at Anne.
Anne looked up from her seat. The second she saw Felicia, her whole face lit up. She dropped her storybook and rushed over, barely able to contain her excitement.
“Pretty lady!” she called out.
Felicia froze where she stood. Before she even had a chance to react, Anne had already wrapped her arms tightly around Felicia’s waist.
The sudden hug knocked Felicia back a step. She quickly caught her balance, instinctively bending down to steady the little girl. Looking down, she met Anne’s eyes—big, bright, and sparkling, like the shiniest gems. Felicia’s whole body went stiff, her heart thudding wildly in her chest. For a moment, she was completely lost and didn’t know what to do.
Then Anne spoke in her sweet voice, introducing herself. “My name is Anne. What’s your name?”
You could tell right away—she was a lively, cheerful kid, the kind who’d been raised with lots of love.
Felicia slowly knelt down, facing her daughter with a gentle smile. Her voice was soft. “Do you know me?”
Anne nodded and replied, “I saw you on a video call with Daddy the other day, and then again when I was watching TV with Daddy. Daddy said I’d get to meet you today, and you really came.”
Her happiness was so obvious, shining in her eyes.
Felicia listened to her daughter’s voice and felt her heart melt. She wanted nothing more than to scoop Anne up in a big hug. She hadn’t expected Anne to remember her. That alone warmed her heart in a way she hadn’t expected.
Felicia smiled, sunlight catching in her eyes. “Thank you, Anne, for liking me.” As she spoke, she slipped the pearl bracelet from her wrist. “Would you like to have this?”

Update pls...
The story is a drag. How can they write crap like this where the female lead is like a lapdog, and the male lead is a complete trash? They use a child to blackmail the mother into staying. The female lead should not go back to the trashy male lead. I would prefer her to be with Jeremy....
Hey. Thank you for updating this novel here. Request you to update a big bulky lot of chapters please. It is such an interesting novel that 10 per day is simply not enough. Thanks again...
