Felicia stood quietly behind him. He knew exactly who she was, but unlike Kennedy, he didn’t make a show of picking on her. If anything, he seemed polite and genuinely well-mannered.
She stepped out of the elevator. Her phone buzzed in her hand. Greg was calling.
“I just got out of the elevator,” Felicia said, picking up. After a quick exchange, she hung up.
By the time she made it through the security gates, the man from before had already disappeared down the hall. Greg was waiting for her, and as soon as he spotted her, he hurried over and offered his arm for support.
They walked out of the office building together. Greg grabbed her suitcase, loaded it into his car, and drove her home. When they finally pulled into the driveway, it was already past twelve thirty.
Felicia washed up quickly and slid straight into bed, exhausted.
For the next three days, Felicia stayed at her family’s house. Nobody from the villa reached out. It didn’t matter. No one seemed to care where she was living anyway.
Her work handover went smoothly, each task falling into place without much trouble. Every morning, Ava would get up early to make her breakfast and lunch. It didn’t take long for Felicia to notice her energy returning, her skin looking healthier, her mood lighter. The hurt Tatiana and Max had caused her was slowly being soothed, just by being at home with people who cared.
Saturday morning, Ava took Felicia to a yoga studio downtown. Felicia had found it online and really liked the look of it. It was expensive, sure, but the facilities were great and the instructors were all highly qualified. They even had personalized classes for pregnant women.
After checking the place out, Felicia felt good about it. The only drawback was the price. A single private session started at eight thousand dollars, and it only went up depending on the instructor’s experience. The staff mentioned that a lot of their regulars were socialites and wives from wealthy families, and they even offered home visits for an extra fee.
Ava went ahead and signed Felicia up for a month’s worth of sessions, picking a mid-range package that cost around thirty thousand. Felicia tried to pay for it herself. She’d made good money working as Max’s assistant and had some savings put aside.

Update pls...
The story is a drag. How can they write crap like this where the female lead is like a lapdog, and the male lead is a complete trash? They use a child to blackmail the mother into staying. The female lead should not go back to the trashy male lead. I would prefer her to be with Jeremy....
Hey. Thank you for updating this novel here. Request you to update a big bulky lot of chapters please. It is such an interesting novel that 10 per day is simply not enough. Thanks again...
