He didn’t even glance their way, just walked straight past and headed inside.
Colton was busy chatting with some relatives, blending in with the crowd, and didn’t notice Darin at all.
"Colton, aren’t you going to help my uncle with those stuff?" Ava’s voice cut through the noise.
Darin had just stepped into the lobby when he stopped short. For a second, it felt like someone had grabbed hold of his nerves, tightening them until his legs couldn’t move. The voices behind him grew louder, closer.
He turned a little, eyes landing on Colton. Twenty years had gone by, and the father he remembered was now an old man. There were wrinkles on his face, his body was heavier, and he looked nothing like he used to. But when Colton laughed, for a split second, it was like Darin was a kid again, seeing his dad’s loving smile. His hand at his side started to tremble.
Colton was joking around with Ava’s family.
"Colton, you’re something else. Having a kid in your fifties. That’s real luck!"
Colton laughed, shaking his head. "It’s Ava who did all the hard work, giving me a cute boy like Sean."
"You better treat her right."
"I have to. I’m sticking close to her and Sean for the rest of my life."
They all laughed together, not even noticing Darin standing there.
He stayed frozen, watching them walk away, watching Colton with his new family, so happy together.

Update pls...
The story is a drag. How can they write crap like this where the female lead is like a lapdog, and the male lead is a complete trash? They use a child to blackmail the mother into staying. The female lead should not go back to the trashy male lead. I would prefer her to be with Jeremy....
Hey. Thank you for updating this novel here. Request you to update a big bulky lot of chapters please. It is such an interesting novel that 10 per day is simply not enough. Thanks again...
