Chapter 712 Helping Her Escape
It was pointless.
Theresa returned to her room and personally sent a message to the Decision Maker One, asking if everyone would be present tomorrow.
After receiving a direct confirmation that all of them would be there, she leaned against the couch, her gaze turning deep and unreadable.
Today, she had obtained a great deal of information from Herold and the others.
Tomorrow, at the headquarters of the Starborn Order, she’d face three major problems.
The first was the internal security system.
The security level there was extremely tight. They even had an electronic eye, a supercomputer monitoring everything around the clock.
At the slightest abnormality, the electronic–eye attack network would be activated, the entire underground camp would be sealed off, and all intruders would be eliminated.
Herold had told her that this security system was the Starborn Order’s strongest weapon. Even he had no way of controlling it.
If she wanted to deal with the Decision Makers, she would have to take down the security system first.
The second was the Starborn Order’s army of zombies.
There were a huge number of zombies at the headquarters, all of them high–level zombies above grade five, along with several hidden trump cards.
However, Herold had already figured out the location of those trump cards. On the level near the entrance, those zombies were sealed inside containers.
He had planted a crucial chess piece–the comrade who had sacrificed himself by injecting the R.virus.
At a critical moment, he would be able to help Theresa.
In truth, though, she didn’t need him. She wasn’t afraid of zombies at all.
Compared to the security system, the most terrifying zombie army was simply free bonus points to her.
She had an absolute trump card.
The last problem was the other Decision Makers of the Starborn Order.
Aside from Sage and Herold, there were eight others. None of them were ordinary individuals.
But Herold had been embedded among them for a long time, and he assured Theresa that tomorrow, would do everything he could to restrain them and keep them inside.

After hearing all of this, Theresa began assigning everyone their roles.
Herold would be responsible for restraining the other Decision Makers. At the critical moment, he would turn on them and support her.
Chapter 212 Helping Her Escape
The men in white coats would take control of the lower level laboratories.
Finished
And if she was lucky enough, she might not even need unleash her final trump card, the nuclear bomb.
Theresa mapped everything out in her mind, quietly burying every one of her cards.
Herold…
The Torchbearers…
Her powers, which had already begun to recover…
The vast arsenal stored in her system….
Her half.zombie body…
And finally, a nuclear bomb–her last line of insurance.
She longed for tomorrow to come.
Soon, the third day came. In order to deceive them, Theresa made herself look even weaker.
Theresa sat at the edge of the bed, her complexion dull and body limp.
“Today is the final injection.” As usual, the three men in white coats came to administer the jab.
When Theresa saw the long syringe, she nodded, her voice weak and drained.
“Alright…”
The liquid was drawn from the vial.
As the air was expelled, tiny droplets flicked from the needle’s tip.
They raised the syringe toward Theresa’s arm.
Just as the long needle was about to pierce her skin, a hand shot out and seized the syringe.
Sage stepped forward, grabbed it tightly, and snapped the needle in two. “There’s no need for this today,” he warned, his gaze fixed on the three men. “Orders from above.”
The three froze. “Really?”
“Are you doubting me?” Sage’s usually gentle eyes glinted coldly.
Hearing that, the three men immediately obeyed.
They hadn’t actually planned to inject Theresa with anything any Sage’s words simply
excuse to back off, and they were more than happy to comply.
They packed up their equipment, exchanged a glance with There
their tasks.
