“Grandma isn’t going to blindly try to push you and Alexander together anymore.”
There was a time when Danielle truly loved Alexander—couldn’t bear to be apart from him for a second. Grandma knew that, which was why she’d always tried to bring them closer.
Danielle had enjoyed Grandma’s matchmaking, too. With Grandma’s help, she got to spend more time with Alexander.
But things were different now.
She frowned. “Did you hear something, Grandma?”
Grandma poured a cup of tea and handed it to Danielle. “So now you’re trying to sound me out? I’m asking you, sweetheart—are you unhappy?”
Danielle paused, lowering her eyes.
She and Alexander had made their decision. The divorce was final, and the terms they’d agreed upon—she intended to keep them for a year.
“No,” she said quietly.
The fact that they were divorced could come from anyone’s lips, but it could never be hers.
Grandma studied Danielle’s calm, composed face.
She seemed to consider something, then fell silent.
After a while, Grandma spoke again. “Did you know Raffy asked Millie to be his godmother?”
Danielle had no idea how Grandma found out about that.
She nodded. “Yes.”
Her calm response showed no surprise, no hint of emotion.
“So you really agreed to it? Alex told me, but I didn’t believe him. How could you be okay with that? Aren’t you jealous?”

The readers' comments on the novel: The Wife You Buried Is Back from Hell
I'm already in chapter 432 ATM and I have the impression that the story is so slow. Daniele remains in the dark, her reputation is low and inexistent, her accomplishment and professional abilities are stiĺl hidden, her enemies are taking the joy in humiliatihg her. No evolution in the plot? Please don't stay long in this, readers might lose interest in the long run....
Please update...
The last chapter was too short. More pls. Thank you....
Lovin' this. More more pls!...
