“Hobbies are something you cultivate,” Alexander said. “Raffy’s already excelling in science—he’s got real talent there. Let him give it a try. If he truly dislikes it, we can always explore other options.”
Millie considered this before speaking up. “Besides, as the future heir… he was born carrying responsibilities most people can’t imagine. What he likes or doesn’t like isn’t really up to him.”
Raffy had to be trained well now. Even a designated heir could be replaced if he didn’t measure up.
Niki’s growing achievements were making Millie feel threatened.
After all, Monica was the Davidson family’s direct descendant. What if Danielle decided to return and challenge for control with her daughter someday?
Every child was entitled to a share of their parents’ estate.
And in that regard, Raffy had no real advantage.
All he had was the hope of being outstanding—of having skills no one could ignore.
Alexander paused, glancing sideways at Millie.
There was a clear, cutting sharpness in his gaze. After a long moment, he finally gave a low, almost amused laugh, eyes fixed on some distant point. “The Davidson legacy was never about who’s forced to carry it. It’s about who can shoulder the weight.”
“In the end, whoever stands in the storm—whoever takes the helm—gets to choose the direction.”
Millie frowned, but by the time she gathered her thoughts, Alexander had already walked away.
Leanne came up behind her.
“He’s made himself pretty clear,” she whispered. “Train your son well. If Raffy can prove himself, the Davidson family doesn’t care much about bloodlines.”
Millie lowered her eyes and gently ruffled Raffy’s hair. “That’s right… that’s exactly it.”
“Sweetheart, I promise—I’m going to help you become the very best you can be.”
Raffy looked up at her, not quite sure what his mom meant.
But deep down, he knew this mother always respected his interests. She wasn’t like his stepmom, who controlled everything he did, never letting him try anything for himself.
Life with this mom had always felt happy and free.

The readers' comments on the novel: The Wife You Buried Is Back from Hell
I'm already in chapter 432 ATM and I have the impression that the story is so slow. Daniele remains in the dark, her reputation is low and inexistent, her accomplishment and professional abilities are stiĺl hidden, her enemies are taking the joy in humiliatihg her. No evolution in the plot? Please don't stay long in this, readers might lose interest in the long run....
Please update...
The last chapter was too short. More pls. Thank you....
Lovin' this. More more pls!...
