Too Late, Mr. Cooper: Your Bride Ran with Your Baby novel Chapter 359

"If someone's love-struck, go find them!"

Gabriel lazily lifted his gaze. He didn't say anything, but he already had someone in mind.

His cool, tired eyes flickered with thought. He changed his approach and asked coldly.

"Liliana, are you thinking about..."

Liliana reacted instantly, cutting him off. "No."

The denial was swift, almost instinctual.

She paused, her delicate features tightening with an expression of disgust.

"Not in this lifetime. Not unless he dies... No, not even if he dies!"

Gabriel raised an eyebrow and let out a dry laugh. "I haven't even said anything yet," he remarked meaningfully.

Liliana froze.

She stiffened, slowly averting her gaze and muttering defiantly.

"You don't have to. I can tell what you're thinking just by looking at you."

Between them, that much unspoken understanding still existed.

Seeing her firm, unyielding attitude, with no room for discussion, Gabriel knew where she stood.

He rose languidly, one hand in his pocket. "I'll go with you to your checkup before the holidays," he said slowly. "Linton will be there too. Take some time to think. If there's anything left to say to him, say it then."

"After all..."

Gabriel paused, looking at her thoughtfully. "Once you have the baby, you'll probably never see him again."

Liliana was silent.
