Under the Veil I Rule (Amara) novel Chapter 366

“Alright, just make sure you take care of yourself.”

Amara didn’t really care whether Elysia and Lucian would end up together. What mattered was that she could finally pull herself out of the pain Dorian had caused her and start living for herself again. That, above all else, was most important.

Life moved on quietly after she got back. A few days later, Liliana set the internet ablaze with a single Twitter post.

She shared a photo of herself and Finnian, standing side by side in front of a house. Liliana’s arm was looped through Finnian’s, her face beaming with joy. The two looked unmistakably close.

Finnian’s face was blurred, but anyone could tell he was the CEO—no, now the Chairman—of the Everly Group.

The photo was captioned: “So grateful to have you.” It looked almost exactly like a formal relationship announcement.

Why did it feel so official?

Until now, there’d only been rumors about Liliana and Finnian, whispers of their relationship, speculation they’d get married someday. But the Everly Group had never acknowledged anything publicly, and there’d never been concrete evidence they were truly together.

This time, even though the Everly Group didn’t issue a statement, they didn’t try to take down Liliana’s post either. Their silence was approval enough—everyone understood now that Liliana and Finnian were truly a couple.

The photo went viral in minutes, and Liliana was suddenly flooded with messages, all wishing her and Mr. Everly a lifetime of happiness.

Rested and recharged, Liliana returned to the film set. The moment she walked on, people flocked around her, eager to curry favor. Some even joked about when she and Finnian were getting married.

“I’m fine. The doctor just told me to eat well and get my strength back,” Hogan replied casually, dropping onto the sofa.

This wasn’t his first time in Liliana’s dressing room. He’d always gotten along well with her, and they’d even had dinner together a few times. He’d always genuinely approved of her as his future sister-in-law.

For Liliana, Hogan had been the only member of the Everly family who’d truly accepted her, so she’d always treated him with warmth and sincerity. There had always been an easy camaraderie between them.

But ever since he’d discovered Liliana’s fake pregnancy, and then had his accident, things felt… off. Now, with the two of them together again, an awkward tension hung between them, subtle but undeniable.

Hogan wasn’t sure if Liliana felt the same. He glanced up at her, a hint of scrutiny in his eyes.
