She forced a gentle smile, trying to mask the tension in the room. “Amelia, your cooking is really impressive. Would you mind showing me how to make it sometime?” she asked softly, hoping to bridge the growing gap between them.

Without even glancing up, Amelia replied curtly, “I don’t have time.”

Gianna’s eyes welled up with tears as she looked down, putting on a pitiful expression. “Are you upset with me? I don’t even understand what I did wrong,” she murmured, her voice trembling.

The other guests exchanged knowing looks and rolled their eyes in silent disbelief.

How long did Gianna intend to keep up this act? After spending the entire day together, everyone could see right through her facade.

Meanwhile, the livestream chat exploded with divided opinions.

With that, the five guests began their ascent.

The mountain path was steep and tangled with thick undergrowth. Every step was a struggle as they climbed higher.

Amelia took the lead, moving steadily and confidently. She wielded a sturdy branch to clear the way and occasionally glanced back to remind the others to watch their footing.

Gianna lagged behind, gasping for breath. Her pale face was etched with frustration as she complained, “This path is way too difficult. Are the producers trying to torture us?”

Inside, she was kicking herself for agreeing to participate.

What was I thinking, joining this reality show? she thought bitterly. It’s pure torture.
