“You want me to learn from Gianna? Learn her ‘kindness‘ and ‘gentleness‘? Please. I’d rather you go learn from Newton! Maybe he’ll teach you how gravity works and pull you straight down to study with him!”
The more she talked, the more fired up she got, and it felt amazing.
Finally letting it all out, she did not just stop at words this time.
“Seriously, I can’t believe I ever fell for trash like you. Was I drunk on stupidity back then?”
With that, Patience grabbed her purse and started swinging it right at Maxwell hard and fast, especially aiming for his face.
He was not good for much, but that face had been his only redeeming feature.

Maxwell was furious but helpless. He could not hit her back, not here, not in front of so many people, and definitely not with cameras around.
He was a man obsessed with keeping up his so–called ‘gentlemanly image‘. And that was exactly why Patience didn’t hold back.

Just then, Marcelo, who had been lecturing Isabel, caught sight of the scene out of the corner of his eye.
Watching Patience actually hitting someone in public, his expression darkened instantly.
“Enough! Do you even know where you are? How dare you cause trouble here?” he barked.
He already disliked this woman as she was his brother’s ex, who used to make Gianna miserable.
And now she had the nerve to start a fight at such an important event? Unbelievable.

“You … ” he started, but Amelia beat him to it, clapping again.

Before, she had always been too soft, and she would do whatever her family told her to.
And now, getting to put that man in his place? It felt so damn good.
“You …” Marcelo’s face turned green with anger.
It’s all Amelia’s fault!
She must have said something to Isabel to make her act out like this.
