Chapter 191 Enter Dane
Lately, Gianna’s mess had bled Nygard Entertainment dry.
A subsidiary in the red still spooked Nygard Group’s shareholders.
It wasn’t catastrophic, but those old hawks hated seeing losses–cuts into their year–end dividends, and it reflects on Marcelo’s competence.
So, he had to ride the nostalgia wave and cash in–fast.
“Don’t worry, big brother. I’ll work my butt off.” Gianna smiled sweetly.
In her head, she wasn’t just staging a comeback—she was going to plant Amelia under her heel.
With the decision made, they had to move now, before the buzz cooled.
Miguel moved just as quickly. He finally had an angle to “help” Gianna and wasn’t about to hold back.
Once the “Selena White stole Gianna’s sound to get famous” story broke, and with paid bots plus Gianna’s die–hard fans fanning it, the scandal kept snowballing online.
Miguel didn’t hesitate–he went straight for the legal route.
He ordered the legal team to fire off a sharply worded demand letter–hand–delivered, no delay.
Then, he filed suit, aiming to use the court as a pressure valve, forcing Selena to publicly confess to “impersonation.”
Everyone at Nygard Entertainment hoped the squeeze would push Selena out of the industry for good.
That way, nobody could threaten Gianna anymore, and Gianna’s own lip–syncing scandal wouldn’t get out so easily.
Even if Amelia lost her cool and tried to blow it up–so what?
With no evidence, the public might gossip for a minute … then forget.
But while they were making such a big deal out of everything, Amelia didn’t bat an eye.
“Miguel really is Marcelo’s twin in spirit. They think mailing a demand letter and a complaint with a full chest equals game over?”

Amelia watched Nygard Entertainment’s moves and thought, It was classic Nygard brothers.
If that was the game they wanted, she was definitely going to play it to the buzzer.
“Want me to call a lawyer? I know a few gold–medal attorneys in Brookhaven, but I’m not sure their dockets have room for a rush.”
Patience sounded genuinely worried.
Those attorneys had worked with Amelia before. They liked her well enough to give her some professional courtesy–but their calendars were always packed. It wasn’t guaranteed they’d squeeze in an urgent case.
“No need. Jeremy said he’s sending in Curran Group’s own legal counsel–Mr. Guzman. He’ll handle everything himself. We don’t have to worry.”
“Mr. Guzman?” Patience blinked, then her eyes went wide. “Wait–don’t tell me you mean Dane Guzman?”
