Chapter 274 Someone Behind the Scene
Amelia was clearly the first one to start college, while Gianna joined later.
It was obvious that Miguel had mixed up the timeline for the two of them.

When Elian pointed that out, Miguel froze for a second–yeah, he’d definitely remembered it
wrong.
He’d always thought Gianna was the more thoughtful, mature one, so he kind of switched them up in his mind, treating Gianna like an older sister, while Amelia was seen as the younger sister.
After all, in most families, isn’t it the older sister who usually lets her younger sister have her way?
But now, it felt like Amelia was always finding fault with Gianna and sometimes even pushing her around, whether intentionally or not.
So, Miguel just kept assuming Gianna was the older sister.
“I was just giving an example,” he said, a little flustered. “Anyway, if they’d just spend more time together and learn from each other, they’d get along better.”
Even though he was embarrassed, Miguel refused to admit he’d messed up.
Instead, he started rambling again like he was giving some kind of lecture.
“Miguel, Amelia’s not bad at all. I heard she used to have great grades—she just got for a while. It’s not really her fault.”

Gianna was thrilled with Miguel. She loved it when he got things mixed up and compared her to Amelia.
Because, in those comparisons, she always came out looking better.
At the moment, she figured Miguel was a lot more dependable than Marcelo.
Lately, Marcelo had become tougher to handle, and it drove her nuts just thinking about it.
One way or another, she needed to find a way to smooth things over with him.
He had the power and status she couldn’t afford to lose–especially since he always treated her
so well.
“Are
you two done?” Amelia said sharply. “If so, can we move on with the presentation?”

She couldn’t care less about their little “perfect siblings” act. What she really wanted to see was
what came next.
“Yeah, let’s get started,” someone added. “I’ve got another meeting soon.”
“Ms. Gianna,” another researcher said, “I’m curious–how exactly did you save that batch of medicinal plants? And what’s your take on growing rare ones?”
The research team and management couldn’t care less about the Nygards‘ drama.
