299 Do Your Best
Marcelo smoothly shifted all the trouble onto Miguel, scheming behind the scenes.
No chance he was getting dragged into that mess himself.
Work was piling up at the company anyway. Even if he were free, he still wouldn’t go.
Maxwell had dealt with Gianna before and knew exactly how bad it could get.

Sure, people tended to forget pain once it was over, but he wasn’t one of them. He remembered it too well.
Miguel, though, was still too trusting. He thought Gianna was just sweet and harmless, never realizing what a headache she could be.
The timing was perfect. He was the best person to send.
When Miguel got picked, a weird feeling crept up his spine. Something didn’t feel right.
He wasn’t as shrewd as Marcelo, but not as clueless as Maxwell either.
He noticed how quickly Victor’s attitude had flipped and knew something was fishy.
Still, like it or not, Gianna joining the show was already decided.
Marcelo was too busy to tag along. Maxwell knew the entertainment world best, but that show was mainly about the Nygard Group’s main projects, not the acting scene.
So Maxwell was out.
And when all the options ran dry, the task landed squarely on Miguel.
“Alright, fine. With me around, Gianna won’t mess things up. Don’t worry, Mr. Cross,” he said.
Miguel had always been steady and dependable. He believed keeping Gianna in line couldn’t be that hard.
Plus, he wanted to use the show to boost Nygard Group’s image and do something good for the family.
“No problem. With you there, I’m totally at ease. Nothing will go wrong,” Victor said, though his thoughts didn’t match his words.
In truth, if nothing went wrong, that’s when he’d be worried. Drama made shows interesting.
After the meeting wrapped up, Victor practically rushed out, looking thrilled.
The cast lineup had him over the moon. Even though half the guests weren’t from showbiz, they were far from ordinary,
People were obsessed with seeing how rich heirs lived, especially when they were young, good–looking,
and loaded.
With Jeremy joining, there was no way the show wouldn’t blow up.

Victor could already picture the fan reactions. That was pure gold.
He was very particular about the guest list, choosing people with both fame and real expertise in the field.
Amelia had already nailed her past appearances and was now the face of Nygard Group.
Since Nygard specialized in that area, it all fit perfectly.
With the Nygard siblings, Vincent, and Jeremy in the mix, it was basically a dream team of elites.
Even Victor couldn’t wait to see what they were really like off–camera.
Plus, it was a great chance to build connections.
He also wanted to bring in a few serious actors who could show the fun and effort behind research and herb farming.
During prep, Victor and his team dug deep, working with Nygard Group to keep things authentic.
Experts from the Nygard Group joined in to explain the technical stuff about research and plant cultivation.
They even designed creative challenges to make the show exciting and different.
Victor was confident his show would stand out and not just be another boring copycat.
