“Amelia, I won’t give up,” Vincent sneered quietly. “Jeremy’s just infatuated for now. He can’t protect you forever.” He pulled out his phone and dialed a number. “Hello, I need you to investigate Amelia and Jeremy’s relationship. The more details, the better.”
Jeremy and Amelia walked out of the club side by side.
“Are you okay?” Jeremy glanced at her, his tone gentle.
Amelia shook her head and chuckled. “I’m fine. I just didn’t expect to run into him here.”
A cold glint flashed in Jeremy’s eyes. “Has he been bothering you constantly?”
Amelia sneered. “He’s just daydreaming, still going after my shares.”
Jeremy narrowed his eyes slightly. “Do you want me to deal with him for you?”
Amelia raised an eyebrow. “Are you always this helpful, Mr. Curran?”
“That depends on the person.” Jeremy’s voice was low and magnetic.
Hearing this, Amelia’s heart skipped a beat.
She turned her face away, hiding the faint blush on her ears. “I appreciate your kindness, Mr. Curran, but this small issue isn’t worth your trouble.”
Amelia could smell the faint cologne on him.
She instinctively stepped back but Jeremy steadied her by the waist. “Careful.”
There were steps right behind her.
The pose was too intimate. Amelia quickly pushed him away. “Thanks, I can walk on my own.”
Jeremy was a little flustered. “Yeah, let’s go. I’ll take you home.” Soon after, they left together.
The next evening, Amelia got ready and went to meet Wilson.
Marcelo had already given her the address.
He mentioned tonight’s dinner would include investors, the director, and several leading actors.
Thanks to the reality show, Amelia’s popularity had skyrocketed. Wilson had his eye on her immediately.
She wasn’t just beautiful–she was also generating serious buzz and trending everywhere.
When Amelia arrived at the hotel, she frowned.
The place was somewhat isolated. Inside, the dimly light corridor had a sleazy, suggestive vibe.
Amelia’s guard immediately went up, but she still made her way to the private room.
She had already guessed Marcelo’s intentions.
Even animals knew how to protect their young.
They were blood–related siblings, yet they were so heartless.
Well, she didn’t need to play nice either.
Amelia pushed open the door. The smell of alcohol and cigarettes hit her, making her frown.

Wilson had a bad reputation in the industry, but he did have some talent, and his past shows had been popular. So he becam even more arrogant.

Hmph! Obviously a setup..
