Chapter 303 Powerful Family

Finister

When filming a show, it was never just a single camera capturing the scene. Multiple devices worked in unison, ensuring every angle was covered.

If Amelia dared to activate a jammer, it wouldn’t just disrupt one camera—it would interfere with the entire crew’s equipment.

And if the cameras couldn’t function properly, what purpose would the show serve?

“You have a valid point,” Gianna finally admitted, her resistance fading.

Her mother nodded reassuringly. “Don’t worry. We’ve prepared a backup plan this time. Over the next few days, I’ll teach you some practical skills to handle these situations.”

It was rare for Gianna to show interest in learning anything, even if it was just to look good on camera. Still, this was a step up from outright refusal.

Whether she shone on the show or not wasn’t really her concern; that had never been her priority.

“Alright, I understand,” Gianna said, finally relaxing a little.

Having her mother nearby was the ultimate safety net, especially since her mom possessed real expertise.

Once she felt more at ease, Gianna’s thoughts drifted back to what had happened in the sommelier class earlier.

“We barely need to lift a finger. That arrogant Amelia won’t be smug for much longer,” she said confidently.

“She only acts like that because Jeremy supports her.”

“But Jeremy already has a fiancée, and she comes from a powerful family. Amelia’s reign is coming to an end.”

Regina raised her eyebrows in surprise upon hearing this.

She hadn’t paid much attention to the kids’ romantic entanglements before, nor had she seen Amelia as a threat.

But realizing that girl was more complicated than she’d thought sparked her curiosity.

“Jeremy’s fiancée? Who is she?” Regina asked.

“The Jordans. Her name’s Sabrina. I’d heard rumors before and dismissed them as gossip, but it turns out they’re true.”

When Regina heard the name “Sabrina Jordan,” her calm gaze flickered.

“Sabrina? She’s really engaged to the Currans?”

“Yes. She was in the sommelier class today. I even tried to strike up a conversation, but she was so aloof—barely spoke to anyone.”

“And her cousin Brielle is just as insufferable,” Gianna added, her annoyance clear.

Yet, she thought, the enemy of my enemy could be a friend. If they both disliked Amelia, teaming up would be ideal.
