Cedric's eyes narrowed. He knew it. All her little games were for this. She was playing hard to get, but behind the scenes, she was doing everything she could to cement her position as Mrs. Forrest.

"The sponsorship for the AuraRun Design Contest has been finalized, Mr. Forrest?" Timothy Stanton's voice came through the phone. When he got no response, he repeated himself.

Cedric snapped back to the present. He had sponsored the contest to keep an eye on Liliana. Now, it seemed like a waste of effort. But the deal was done.

"Hand over everything related to AuraRun to Vice President Woods," he said, his voice cold. "As of tomorrow, you are no longer involved."
