Author’s POV
“So, you said this Lisa is a friend of yours?” Sandro asked, dropping the cigarette butt.
“Yes, she is” Irene replied, a stony look on her face.
The longer she stayed here, the longer she stayed without seeing her mother and without seeing Lisa, the more her anger consumed her.
“That’s perfect then” Sandro grinned, a creepy grin that made Irene feel the air on her back rise.
“You want to get revenge for your mother’s death and I want to do so for my brother’s death. This should work out perfectly. Aargh” He groaned and then leaned back into the couch he was sitting on.
“Lucius has no idea what he has done.”
“Sandro” Irene called as Sandro made to light another cigarette.
“Yeah?”
“Lisa. Will your revenge be getting rid of her?” She asked and Sandro chuckled.
“What do you think? That’s the only person who matters to Lucius, isn’t it? The bastard can only be hurt through her”
Sandro watched as Irene’s stony gaze faltered.
“Why? You don’t want her killed?”
“No, I want it. I just… I would just like to do it myself if it is going to happen”
Sandro grinned, taking the first drag of his cigarette.
“Well, you just topped my expectations. Will be looking forward to that. You may leave. I will call you back in no time though” “Yes sir” Irene replied and left the room.
She, of course wasn’t going to kill Lisa. There was no way she would watch Lisa die alone but after spending a few days here with Sandro, she had come to realize that mercy was a lost concept here.
Once Sandro got Lisa, Irene was going to make Lisa promise to be by her side instead and once Lisa was willing to be by her side, Irene was going to deceive Sandro into thinking she had killed Lisa already.
Then she would elope with Lisa and together they would start a new life. Lucius would however leave with the pains that Lisa was dead and that would be just perfect!

MONALISA
I watched as Lucius pulled the car to a halt and parked it. Every second of watching him made me feel sweet. None of my previous relationships had felt like this.
Lucius and I felt so fucking perfect together and I wished we had started off as couples earlier, in fact.
“Now, I know I am handsome but you don’t have to stare at me so much” Lucius said with a smile on his face.
“Tell me you don’t like it when I stare at you” I demanded, a small smile on my face too.
“I don’t like it. I love it instead. I love it when you look at me with those dreamy eyes”
He moved a hand to my cheek and brushed it gently, our gaze now locked.
“You have beautiful eyes and everyone, everything in your line of sight should feel lucky that they were opportune to be seen by you”
A small blush crept up my cheeks as I grinned from ear to ear.
“That’s an exaggeration” I laughed softly, breaking the eye contact but Lucius pulled me back to look at him.
“More like an understatement.” He replied and then his gaze dropped to my lips.
He leaned in and kissed me on the lips and I instantly kissed him back. It was at this moment I noticed that there had been a difference between our recent kisses and our first kisses.
Our first kisses had been fuelled mainly by lust but the recent kisses were different. They made me tingle but in a different way.
Hell! I loved this man.
He broke the kiss with a small groan.
“You might not be able to write your exam if I kiss you for a minute longer” he groaned, glanced at my lips once more and pulled away.
