"You are really pregnant" Mum whispered, holding the pregnancy test result in her hands.

"You are really pregnant " She said yet again and I bowed my head slightly, turning my gaze to the bed sheets.

How could I be pregnant?

No, I didn't want to believe that I was pregnant amidst all of these chaos. But it was clear I was. We just had an urine test and my blood has been drawn for a blood test too.

I don't know why I had lied to mum that I didn't have sex with Lucius when I had done so, countless times. Maybe it was because I believed I could not be pregnant.

"You told me you didn't.... You told me you didn't have sex with Mr. Devine! Then what is this?" Mum asked, her eyes frustrated and her facials tensed.

"Is this wrong too? Do I have to get the blood test results before you admit it?" Mum asked and pushed her fingers into her hair.

"I... I don't know what to do. I really don't know what to do" she leaned against the wall and slipped down slowly. She sat on the floor and palmed her face.

I took a step towards her and paused. I was pregnant for Devine. Pregnant for the man I loved. That would not have been so hard if that man wasn't the same man I was supposed to hate.

"Mum" I called and took the remaining steps to get to her.

I crouched down beside her and called her once more.

"Lisa" she grabbed me and pulled me into a tight hug.

"I don't know what to do" she cried, hugging me tightly.

"I am sorry. I am sorry, mum" I cried too.

"I am really sorry"

Three hours later.

"You are in love with him?" Mum asked, holding my hands gently and I slowly nodded, looking at her face and looking for her reaction.

I had told mum that we liked each other at first glance and we had fallen in love during the time she was absent from home. I had of course held a lot of information back.

"Lisa" she caressed my hands gently.

"Do you realize who he is? The man you say you are in love with. Do you understand the kind of man he is?" Mum asked and I slowly nodded.

It didn't make sense at all, even to me. The fact that I was still loving and wanting Devine after finding out all of these didn't make sense but I couldn't help it.
