“I want to know how she is doing ” I whispered the words, looking at the iPad in my hands.

I could see her location. She had left the hospital and was now in some residential area. I had some of my men follow them and put a tracker on Diane’s car. I had to know where she was at every second.

And also, Sandro was still out there so I had to make sure Lisa was safe.

“I wonder if she feels good enough to leave the hospital already.” I mumbled.

“Boss” Bella spoke behind me and I shut my eyes for a few seconds.

I groaned and then opened my eyes.

“What do you think, Bella?” I questioned.

“I have hurt Lisa so much and I badly want to do everything I can to have her completely forgive me. I need her.” I swallowed hard.

“You are deep in love with her, boss”

“I know that fact already. I didn’t call you here to tell me things I already know”

“My apologies”

“You are a lady” I got up on my feet, dropping the iPad on the table in front of me.

I turned to face Bella.

“Lisa is one too. What can I do? I want to do everything I can for her but my head is… I feel blank and so fucking empty right now. I can’t even think anymore. You do the thinking on my behalf, Bella. What can I do?”

“Lisa loves you a lot, boss but from what I have seen about her the few times we met, I think you don’t need to do anything other than being by her side. You should be by her side, make her feel better and reassure her over and over again. But there’s a stumbling block. Her mother.”

“Exactly. Diane won’t make this any easy”

“And yet you have to consider her. Whenever we have stumbling blocks, we usually get rid of them but in this case, we have one we can’t get rid of.”

“I am not thinking about getting rid of Diane. I am in this mess because I killed her father. I’d be stupid to consider killing Diane”

“Her mother is hurt and so won’t let you close to Lisa. It would take a lot of time for her to heal and even when she heals, she might heal in a way that would remain negative for you, Boss. Giving her gifts won’t help either. It will only make her feel humiliated. She would feel you are trying to buy her over. In this situation, I don’t think there is any other way other than you going to Lisa and staying with her even against her mum’s wish. As long as Lisa stays with you, her mum will eventually accept the both of you being together.”

I turned and slipped back onto the chair I was sitting on. Bella was right. The more I stayed away from Lisa, the farther she would be pulled away from me and the more Diane will be able to tear us apart.

I picked the iPad and stared at it again, looking at the location.

“I am leaving”

“For Lisa?” Bella asked the question which had the most obvious answer already but I replied her anyways.

“For my woman.”

I was seated on a chair in front of the table in my room. We were already in the house mum’s friend had let us stay in.
