A Vow of Deception, A Vow of Revenge novel Chapter 248

“Of course. Who are you looking for?”

Simone hesitated. She hadn't spoken to him in over twenty years. Could she really reach out now? And even if she did, would he help?

“Hello? Simone, are you still there?”

The thought of reuniting Winona and Tyson solidified her resolve. She gritted her teeth and finally said the name.

Her friend was shocked. “Him? Simone, why are you looking for him? Do you know him?”

“It's complicated. Just see if you can find a way to contact him. And please, keep this between us.”

“Alright, don't worry. I'll message you as soon as I find anything.”

“Thank you so much.”

...

The next morning, Winona woke up in a haze. It took her a few moments to fully come to her senses before she sat up in bed.

Suddenly, she remembered the dream she'd had and buried her face in her hands, mortified.

Elvis had been in it. His heavy breathing, his muscular chest, the searing heat of his skin…

She couldn't believe she'd had a dream like that. She was really down bad for him.

Winona quickly jumped out of bed and into the shower. The cool water helped clear her head. After getting dressed, she went downstairs and saw a maid cleaning the living room.

“Good morning, miss,” the maid greeted her.

“Morning,” Winona replied. “Where's Elvis?”
