A Vow of Deception, A Vow of Revenge novel Chapter 250

She had a good impression of Jeremiah, and she remembered that the Thorne Group had a major project with the Whitlock Group. It was only right for her to visit him. More importantly, he was Elvis's friend.

Elvis pulled her into a brief, tight hug.

Soon, they were dressed and on their way to the hospital. As it turned out, it was the same hospital where Jude was staying, and their rooms were even on the same floor.

As they stepped out of the elevator, they came face to face with Jackson Quincy. He was obviously on his way out after visiting Jude.

Surprise flickered across his face when he saw them.

“President Thorne,” he said, giving Winona a slight nod before his gaze shifted to Elvis. “Mr. Rogers.” His greeting was polite but cool.

Elvis inclined his head in return, his demeanor equally detached.

“Mr. Quincy,” Winona said, her tone formal and distant. “We're here to see a friend. Excuse us.”

With that, she took Elvis's hand and hurried down the hallway toward Jeremiah's room.

Jackson watched them go. She was still so polite, so remote. But what did he expect? They barely knew each other. They weren't even friends.

He wondered who they were visiting. For both of them to come to the hospital together… to this hospital…

Could it be Jeremiah?

Instead of getting into the elevator, Jackson turned and walked back to Jude's room.

Jude was lounging in bed, playfully flirting with a pretty young nurse. He frowned when he saw his brother return.

“Didn't you just leave? What are you doing back?”
