If the divorce was a sham, then what was she doing dangling Herbert along? Was it all just to spite her, knowing full well she and Herbert were in marriage negotiations?

Faced with Xenia’s accusations, Starla let out a derisive laugh. “After everything you’ve done to me, which is now public knowledge in Marina City, what man would be brave enough to marry you and invite that chaos into his home? Do I really need to lift a finger to get revenge?”
