Wayne discreetly took a few steps back, leaving space for Julius and Janina.

Julius had been in a good mood on the phone.

But seeing Janina still hanging around the company entrance, the smile on his face slowly froze over.

He spoke to her with a cold expression, "Why are you still here? I'm very busy. This had better be important."

"Don't worry. Once you sign this, I promise I'll never appear in front of you again."

Janina pulled the divorce agreement with the four-million-dollar settlement from the envelope and handed it to him.

"This will only take ten seconds of your time. Sign this, and we can go finalize the divorce tomorrow."

Julius pinched the bridge of his nose in frustration.

He hadn't been far when he was on the phone and had overheard parts of her conversation with Wayne.

Initially, he hadn't believed for a second that Janina would actually divorce him.

But when he heard her say that loving him was too exhausting and that she was letting them both go, her tone was so light, it didn't sound like a lie.

So, she had been waiting here since this morning, and this was a newly drafted agreement.

Now, holding the papers, Janina's face was calm, her gaze steady. He could no longer find a trace of the adoration she once held for him.

Could it be? Did she really want to divorce him?

Julius felt an inexplicable wave of irritation as he took the divorce papers.

The contents were similar to this morning's version, only the amount had changed from five million to four million.

Her signature was at the bottom.

"If there are no problems, just sign it!" Janina urged.

Julius didn't rush to sign. Instead, he handed the agreement back to her.

"What's the meaning of this? Don't tell me you can't even afford four million! I'm not asking for the house in Solara Heights, just give me the cash equivalent. That's not an unreasonable request, is it?"
