Aiden Finnegan the Alchemist in Delcord novel Chapter 109

Wasn't Aiden the useless son-in-law of the Gray Family?

Observing the anxious Zachary, Aiden gestured dismissively and said, "I didn't mean anything else. The Thatcher Family has businesses in numerous industries and significant influence, but we shouldn't bully others, or else we can't even be friends."

"I understand. Don't worry, Aiden. Today was an accident. That guy is from the Johnson Family and has some shares in my company. I heard that my car was stolen, so I came out. I didn't expect it to be you," Zachary nodded.

Then, he glanced at Dolly and Sally beside Aiden and inquired, "Aiden, do you have a sister?"

"These are Janice's children, and the other one is her classmate. They had never been to a nightclub before, so they insisted on me bringing them here to satisfy their curiosity. That's why we're here," Aiden pointed to Dolly and Sally and explained, "But I didn't expect to encounter the young master of the Johnson Family here, and he's quite arrogant!"

After Zachary said that, Aiden glanced mischievously at Quinton.

Zachary nodded and then signaled to his bodyguard, saying, "Go and prepare two black VIP cards. Also, remember these two young ladies. They will come to the club in the future, so protect them well."

"Yes!" The bodyguard responded and hurriedly entered the nightclub, heading toward the office upstairs.

Then, Zachary looked at Quinton and commanded, "Come over here!"

Quinton nervously walked to Zachary's side, looking at Aiden with fear on his face.

Quinton was not foolish. Zachary's respectful attitude toward Aiden indicated that Aiden's identity was definitely more than just being the live-in son-in-law of the Gray Family.

"M-Mr. Thatcher, A-Aiden!" Quinton nervously said.

Zachary slapped Quinton and scolded, "You dare to call him Aiden? Call him Mr. Finnegan!"

"Yes! Yes! Mr. Finnegan!" Quinton quickly corrected himself.

Aiden looked at Quinton and asked with a smile, "Did you just ask me to kneel down and grovel to you?"

"No, no, Mr. Finnegan. I was just joking with you," Quinton laughed.

"Joking with me? Are you even worthy?" Aiden responded, looking at Quinton with a disdainful expression.

Upon hearing this, Quinton's face was already covered in sweat. He dared not speak and stood there, looking at Zachary with a pleading expression.

Zachary sighed and looked at Aiden apologetically, saying, "Aiden, that... that..."

"He is your subordinate?" Aiden asked indifferently.

Zachary smiled bitterly and said, "Aiden, the Thatcher Family and the Johnson Family have been friends for generations. This kid has been following me ever since he was young, and I often let him handle many things for me."

"So, you are aware that he can be arrogant?" Aiden glanced at Zachary and asked.

Before Zachary could speak, Quinton said, "Mr. Finnegan, what I did has nothing to do with Mr. Thatcher. He has no involvement in this at all."

"This kid is loyal to me," Zachary said helplessly.

Aiden glanced at Zachary and calmly stated, "Give him thirty slaps and make him apologize to the ladies!"

"Say thank you!" Zachary breathed a sigh of relief and quickly kicked Quinton, urgently saying.

"Thank you, Mr. Finnegan. Thank you, Mr. Finnegan!" Quinton exclaimed hastily and then proceeded to slap himself.

After the slaps, Quinton's face swelled up like a balloon.

The spectators were shocked by this scene. They never expected Quinton to be so brutal, and they had no idea who the young man was.

Quinton looked at Aiden with a flattering smile and said, "Mr. Finnegan, please..."

Quinton replied, "I just called a few guys over to teach him a lesson, but I didn't expect him to be so skilled in fighting."

"I understand, Mr. Thatcher," Quinton replied.

After Zachary finished speaking, he didn't want to stay there anymore and left the office.

However, what he didn't see was that behind him, Quinton was looking at him with eyes full of resentment!

At the entrance of the university, Dolly apologized sheepishly, "Aiden, I'm sorry. If we hadn't insisted on going to the club, this wouldn't have happened."

"It's alright." Aiden smiled and said, "But there's something I need to tell you. Don't call me 'brother-in-law' anymore."

"Are you upset about it?" Dolly asked anxiously.

Aiden shook his head and said, "No. It's just that Angelina and I are getting a divorce."

"Divorce? Why? Did she scold you again?" Dolly frowned.

Aiden shook his head and remarked, "Those things are no longer relevant."

With a dismissive wave of his hand towards Dolly, Aiden instructed, "Go back to school. I'm leaving."

Having said those words, Aiden drove off.
