Sensing Angelina's vulnerability, Aiden couldn't bring himself to refuse. He gently reassured her, "Okay, I won't leave you."
Upon hearing his comforting words, she found a sense of security and peacefully drifted to sleep in his embrace.
Aiden briskly arrived home, carrying Angelina in his arms. Harvey and Linda, filled with anticipation, stood up and approached as soon as they spotted them.
Aiden carefully settled Angelina onto the couch, but she stirred awake when she felt herself being placed down. "Aiden, please don't go!" she exclaimed upon waking.
"I'm right here. We're already home," he calmly reassured her.
Harvey anxiously asked, "Addie, did the authorities catch them?"
"I didn't involve the authorities! A martial arts brawl won't even register on their radar," Aiden replied with a frown.
Perplexed, Harvey asked, "How did you manage to escape?"
At that moment, Angelina tightly gripped Aiden's hand. After a pause, she composed herself and whispered, "Aiden killed Cohen!"
"What? You killed someone?" Linda asked anxiously.
"Yeah, Jordan too," Aiden replied casually.
Harvey anxiously asked, "Won't the police come after you now?"
Alarmed by the possibility of Aiden being arrested, Linda exclaimed, "Oh no! If you and Angelina were together, wouldn't the police think you both committed the crime?"
In response, Aiden shot her a cold smile without uttering a word.
Harvey's anger flared as he snapped, "Why are you bringing this up now?" He turned to Aiden and instructed, "You and Angelina should start packing. I'll get some cash for you immediately. Go far, and whatever you do, don't come back!"
Concerned, Angelina inquired, "Dad, what about you and Mom once we're gone?"
Her father reassured her with a hint of worry, "You don't have to worry about us. If we claim ignorance, they won't have any grounds to take action against us."
Upon hearing this, Angelina turned to Aiden and said, "I know you're a martial artist, but we can't take on the Chapman Family. Let's just leave."
Linda, who had kept quiet until now, interjected, "Why is this our concern? The Chapman Family came for him, and now that he has killed someone. Why should you run away with him?"
"Mom, what are you saying?" Angelina retorted.
Linda, maintaining a stern expression, replied, "Am I wrong? If he hadn't provoked the Chapman Family, would they still have sent people to our house? After all, they were after him from the beginning!"
"What are you even talking about? This isn't your concern. Just leave!" Harvey snapped, irritated by his wife's words.
Suddenly, she screamed, "How dare you scold me? Have you completely forgotten any sense of decency? Are you okay with letting him destroy our family?"
"Mom, that's enough. Do you understand what might have happened if Aiden hadn't shown up? James could have taken advantage of me! And all of this at the banquet began because of me. Instead of offering support, you're considering pushing Aiden away. I'm really disappointed in you!" Angelina exclaimed, then rose from her seat and grasped Aiden's hand. "Let's go!"
However, he remained motionless, his expression revealing a calm demeanor. "You're clueless about the world of martial artists," he asserted.
"We may not understand, but do you?" Linda retorted. "Just wait for the police to arrive and take you into custody!"
Smack!

Harvey cautioned, "Addie, don't act impulsively!"
"Are you sure about going there now? It feels like walking into a trap," Angelina added anxiously.
Aiden shook his head, asserting, "You don't understand. This isn't over yet." With that, he turned and headed for the door.
"Aiden, what do you mean it's not over? Come back!" Harvey urgently called after him.
"Laying a hand on my woman is unforgivable!" Aiden's resolute voice echoed from a distance.

In the Chapman Residence, James stood in the hallway, tears streaming down his face. "Grandpa, Jordan is gone! Cohen didn't make it either. I barely escaped with my life!"
The elderly man with white hair shot up from his chair, his face filled with anger. "What? Jordan is dead?"
James trembled as he recounted, "Jordan tried to avenge me, but he was killed by the other party."
"You useless fool! Do you even understand how important Jordan is to our family?" the elderly man yelled angrily, forcefully kicking James out with a single swift motion.
As James hit the ground, he sobbed and pleaded, "Grandpa, please don't blame me entirely. It was a minor disagreement at the gathering, and the other party deliberately stirred up trouble. Jordan only reacted because he was provoked."
"Do you think I'm a fool? Would Jordan act so recklessly?" the furious elderly man shot back, glaring at James. "With Cohen gone now, what are we supposed to do?"
