Aiden Finnegan the Alchemist in Delcord novel Chapter 130

Steam rushed out of the entrance as if desperate to escape. Aiden caught sight of a graceful figure, but quickly averted his gaze, hastily tossing the towel into the bathroom before making his escape.

Angelina's eyes welled up with tears of disappointment as she watched Aiden turn away. She muttered to herself, "What more do you want from me, Aiden? I'm already acting like a fool! Are you trying to get back at me?"

Back in the hall, Aiden took a deep breath. He understood Angelina's intentions, but he wasn't certain if they were truly compatible for a lifetime together.

After leaving the bathroom, Angelina returned to her room and locked the door. If Aiden wasn't even aroused just now, how could she expect him to come to her room in the middle of the night?

The night passed in silence. The following morning, when Aiden opened the door to the medical center, he found Gina waiting outside with a smile on her face.

"Gina, it's early. Is there something you need?" he asked, confused.

Gina flashed a charming smile and replied, "I missed you, so I came to see you."

Aiden shook his head and smiled bitterly as he walked out of the medical center. "Gina, I know how you feel, but you should also know my thoughts."

"Are you really going to stick with her, little Aiden? I can treat you better than she does!" Gina said, still smiling.

"It's too soon to say such things, Miss Harper." Angelina, who had also arrived at the entrance, looked at Gina coldly.

However, Gina remained unfazed. "Are you finding this amusing, Angelina? Since your family doesn't value Aiden, why bother?"

"Regardless, we are still legally married," Angelina replied before walking back inside.

Aiden smiled bitterly and said, "Gina, you should leave."

"I won't!" Gina pouted.

With a smile, Aiden insisted, "Please."

After Gina left, Aiden returned to the medical center and found Angelina standing at the entrance of her bedroom. She bit her lip and said, "Aiden, give me some time. Let's not get a divorce just yet, okay?"

Aiden took a deep breath and replied, "Alright."

Angelina's face lit up with a bright smile at his response.

"Is Mr. Finnegan here?" a voice came from outside the door. Aiden looked up to find Calian, whom he had met at the Harper Family.

With an unpleasant expression, Aiden asked, "How did you know I'm here?"

"Haha, with your exceptional medical skills, how could I not?" Calian laughed heartily.

Aiden glanced at Calian and inquired, "Did Miss Gina tell you?"

"Let's not discuss that! I'm here for something important," Calian said.

"I can't," Aiden replied directly.

"I haven't even told you yet, and you're already turning me down!" Calian rolled his eyes before continuing, "You have such advanced medical skills. It's a shame for you to stay in this small medical center."

"I think it's perfectly fine," Aiden casually responded.

"Come to Prime Hospital and be my deputy director!" Calian offered with a sly grin. However, Aiden responded indifferently, "I'm not interested."

"Don't reject me so quickly! Listen, there are only a limited number of patients who come here. Wouldn't it be better if you could use your skills to save more lives?" Calian tried to persuade, but Aiden reiterated, "I won't go."

"What level have you reached now?" Calian inquired.

"The Duke."

"You've achieved the level of Duke at such a young age?!" Calian was astonished.

How could he not be? There were only a few individuals in the entire Wardom who had reached that level, let alone someone as young as Aiden.

"What are you currently occupied with at the medical center?" Calian asked.

Aiden pondered for a moment and replied, "Lately, I actually have some matters to attend to. I need to develop a few formulas."

"What kind of formulas?" Calian's eyes lit up. Considering that Aiden could even refine Corebuilder, who knew what kind of medicine he would create this time?!

"Skincare products," Aiden casually mentioned.

Calian stared blankly at Aiden, pointing at him with trembling fingers. "Y-You... I can't believe it! You're here researching cosmetics instead of saving lives!"

"But researching this doesn't prevent me from saving lives," Aiden said seriously.

Calian was left speechless, sitting there in disbelief.

"Do you have any other business?" Aiden calmly inquired.

In response, Calian abruptly stood up, straightened his sleeves, and left.
