Aiden nodded and replied, "Who else could make my personal attendant betray me?"

Upon hearing Aiden's words, Quentin inquired, "What are you planning to do?"

"I am now just a son-in-law of the Gray Family," Aiden stated calmly.

Upon hearing that, Quentin chuckled and took out a bank card from his pocket. He handed it to Aiden and said, "This is the money you entrusted me with, including the profits from the company over the past three years. I assume you need it now."

Aiden accepted the bank card without bothering to ask about the amount inside. "Uncle Quentin, please return for now. When the time comes, I will come find you."

"Okay." Quentin nodded and stood up to leave.

As Aiden watched Quentin get into the car and drive away, he couldn't help but feel mixed emotions.

Meanwhile, in the VIP ward at Prime Hospital, Calian, accompanied by the hospital director and a group of doctors, gathered around the hospital bed.

After examining the elderly patient on the bed, Calian approached the man and stated, "Mr. Harper's health is deteriorating."

"Could it be that my father was aware of his condition when he expressed the desire to visit an old friend?" Oliver Harper mumbled. He then grabbed Calian's arm and pleaded, "Mr. Kirves, please find a way to save my father!"

Calian smiled bitterly at Oliver and remarked, "Life, aging, illness, and death are beyond human control."

Oliver welled up with tears upon hearing those words. He stumbled toward the bedside, looking at the unconscious Samuel, and pleaded, "Dad, you can't go!" His voice carried overwhelming sorrow, evoking tears from those around.

Oliver, sensing Calian's urgency, quickly inquired, "Mr. Kirves, what's going on?"

Calian dismissed the concern with a wave of his hand, saying, "Don't judge a book by its cover. His medical skills surpass mine!"

Aiden ignored the ongoing discussions and quickly grabbed Samuel's arm to check his pulse. After a brief moment, he called out, "Calian, give me a hand here!"

"Sure," Calian responded, swiftly approaching the bedside and waiting for Aiden's instructions.
