Upon hearing Angelina's voice, Karin stood up and greeted her with a smile.

"Karin!" Angelina exclaimed happily and couldn't stop smiling. "When did you come back?"

"I just returned yesterday," Karin said and hugged Angelina.

After spending some time catching up, Angelina asked, "How did you know I was here? Did my mom inform you?"

"I happened to meet Karin at the bank," Aiden chimed in with a smile.

Upon hearing this, Angelina nodded and turned to Aiden, asking, "Why were you at the bank? To withdraw money? I still have some cash in my bag."

"I've already taken care of it," Aiden fibbed.

However, Karin interjected, "What's going on? Angelina, you opened a medical center and left Gray Enterprise again."

"It's a long story," Angelina sighed.

Karin sensed that the two of them had been through a lot and reassured her, "It's okay; we can discuss it later."

"By the way, Angelina, Aiden claims to be a doctor here. Is that true?" Karin inquired.

Angelina nodded and confirmed, "Yes, Aiden is the one who opened this medical center!"

"When did he learn medicine? And is he capable of treating others?" Karin curiously asked Angelina.

Angelina shrugged and replied, "Don't ask me; I have no idea!"

Karin turned to Aiden and said seriously, "Angelina, there's clearly something off about this man. Could he be possessed by someone else?"

"Oh please, can you stop reading ghost stories?" Aiden responded with a helpless expression.

Karin had a penchant for reading bizarre supernatural stories and often used them to explain unexplainable phenomena.

"Then how do you explain suddenly becoming a doctor?" Karin pressed further. In fact, Angelina had always been curious too. She had a lingering feeling that Aiden hadn't been completely honest with her.

Aiden rolled his eyes at Karin and retorted, "Can't I teach myself?"

"Teach yourself? Are you that intelligent?" Karin skeptically looked at Aiden, and even Angelina didn't believe his words.

Aiden playfully tapped Karin's forehead and said, "From the way you talk, it seems like I'm really dumb!"

"Hey, I've told you many times not to hit my head!" Karin complained. "If you're not dumb, why would you become a live-in son-in-law?"

Just as Karin finished speaking, Angelina quickly glanced at Aiden. Karin didn't understand Aiden's current situation, so Angelina was worried that he might be upset by her words.

However, Angelina was overthinking. Aiden didn't care at all about Karin's words.

Realizing that her words were inappropriate, Karin awkwardly apologized, "I didn't mean it, Aiden. Don't be angry, okay!"

"There's no reason for me to be angry. It's true that anyone with a brain wouldn't become a live-in son-in-law, but my intelligence is still intact, so it doesn't affect my medical studies," Aiden replied with a smile.

Karin found Aiden's remark about being intelligent amusing and remarked, "Well, well, young man, you've improved a lot. At least now you know how to crack jokes!"

When Karin visited Aiden's house before, he never joked with her, even though he talked to her. Additionally, she and Angelina always stayed in Angelina's room, so she had never seen Aiden making jokes.

"Just chasing after you?" Aiden continued to ask.

Angelina, however, asked in confusion, "Aiden, aren't you supposed to be treating Karin? Why are you asking about negative energy? Isn't that superstitious?"

Angelina nodded and said, "What about Karin's illness?"
