Aiden Finnegan the Alchemist in Delcord novel Chapter 148

After a moment, Aiden brought the brewed medicinal soup and handed it to Karin, saying, "Karin, don't worry too much. Take the medicine first and see how you feel tonight. Maybe I'm just overthinking."

Karin nodded and took the medicinal soup, slowly drinking it.

Angelina looked up at Aiden and saw him shaking his head.

Although Aiden had just said that, he knew that Karin's situation was definitely not that simple.

However, if he couldn't find the cause of Karin's illness, Aiden couldn't make a hasty diagnosis.

After Karin drank the medicine, her complexion quickly returned to normal. She looked at Aiden and exclaimed, "Aiden, I didn't expect you to really have medical skills. I feel much better after taking the medicine."

"I told you from the beginning, but you didn't believe me!" Aiden said with a smile.

Karin glared at Aiden and said, "Come on, with the way you were before, how could I believe you?"

"So, the live-in son-in-law can't start over, right?" Aiden asked sarcastically.

Angelina smiled and said, "You two are really... How come I didn't notice this before?"

"Before, he wouldn't dare to talk back to me when I spoke to him. Now, it's different. He's so good at arguing that it's giving me a headache," Karin said.

Aiden was amused by Karin’s words. "I mean, can you please stop talking like a tomboy all the time? It's really damaging your image as a beauty!"

"What's wrong with that?" Karin said nonchalantly.

"Alright, enough joking around. Let's go eat," Angelina said with a smile.

At the dining table, Angelina told Karin about Aiden's recent experiences. After listening, Karin looked at Aiden in astonishment and said, "Wow, Aiden, your experiences could be written into a book!"

"Oh, come on, it's not that big of a deal!" Aiden said with a laugh.

After finishing the meal, Angelina asked, "Karin, shall we take you home first?"

"Do you guys live in the medical center now?" Karin asked curiously.

Angelina nodded and said, "Yes, you know how my mom feels about Aiden..."

"I understand. Actually, I think it's better this way. It's not convenient to live with elderly people all the time, and it's impossible to have any romantic relationships with them around," Karin said seriously.

However, Angelina glanced at Aiden with resentment and said, "Romantic relationships? There are so many people pursuing him now. I bet that even if I throw myself at him, he wouldn't care!"

"What?" Upon hearing this, Karin patted Aiden's shoulder and said with a serious tone, "Aiden, you're not handling this right. After all, Angelina is the most beautiful girl in Keyland. If this gets out, will Angelina have any dignity left?"

Aiden turned to look at Karin and said, "It's not what you think, Karin. Angelina didn't explain it clearly."

Angelina couldn't help but pout and said, "What do you mean I didn't explain clearly? That's exactly how it is!"

Upon hearing this, Aiden fell silent and simply continued driving.

"Hey, Karin, do you want to sleep with me tonight?" Angelina suddenly asked.

Angelina thought carefully and said, "Yes! Because I discovered that the people who truly care about you are the ones who selflessly give without expecting anything in return."

"I'm glad you understand that," Karin said with a smile. "But what is the current situation between the two of you?"

Then, Angelina told Karin about what happened in the bathroom that day.

Karin looked at Angelina in astonishment and said, "No way. Even a powerful woman like you can't win over Aiden?"

Angelina smiled bitterly.

"I really didn't expect it, Angelina. It's hard to believe that the most beautiful woman in Keyland is trying to seduce a man!" Karin shook her head and spoke.

Angelina couldn't help but let out a sigh, too. "What do you mean by seducing men? That sounds so harsh!"

"I know. Everything was fine, but then my mom caused a misunderstanding in the middle," Angelina said helplessly.

Karin nodded in understanding. "I get it. That’s how she is."

"By the way, Angelina, I have an idea that might work for the two of you!" Karin's eyes brightened as she spoke.

Curiously, Angelina looked at Karin and asked, "What idea?"
