Aiden Finnegan the Alchemist in Delcord novel Chapter 63

Gina glanced at Zachary with a triumphant expression. "How did I put it?"

He replied, "You're right. The Thatcher Family is quite cunning. They meticulously plan everything!"

She burst into laughter at his admission. "Zachary, can you imagine if your grandfather heard you talking about your family like that? Do you think he might break your leg?"

He shrugged nonchalantly. "Well, my grandpa isn't around."

"But I am," Gina retorted with a smile.

Zachary pleaded, "Miss Gina, please don't do this."

"Wait, do you two know each other?" Aiden asked, surprised by the familiarity between them.

She smiled and explained, "His cousin happens to be married to my sister."

"Ah, I see now." Aiden nodded. "I didn't realize you two were related."

Zachary chimed in, "Aiden, let's go. Someone is waiting for us."

"Sure," Aiden agreed.

Gina added, "I'll join you. It's been a while since I visited Old Mr. Thatcher."

Aiden wrote down two recipes and handed them to Reece, asking him to prepare them. Then, the four of them headed to Thatcher Manor.

Upon entering, Aiden noticed Jeffrey talking to the old man from the previous day. The two elderly men promptly stood up when they saw him.

"Mr. Finnegan, your hard work is truly appreciated," the old man expressed.

Aiden smiled and replied, "Healing the sick and saving lives is a doctor's duty!"

"Are you the God of War?" Gina asked as she entered the manor, catching the old man off guard.

The old man glanced at her and then at Jeffrey, his eyes filled with curiosity.

"Sergeant, meet Gina—the daughter of the Harper Family!" Jeffrey introduced with a smile.

"Hello, Old Mr. Thatcher!" she greeted politely.

The old man smiled and replied, "Ah, you're the little girl from the Harper Family. It's been twenty years, and you've grown into a young lady. Haha! I remember how you used to run around the streets with a runny nose."

"Old Mr. Walker!" Gina called out playfully.

Upon hearing that, Aiden looked puzzled. He couldn't imagine her running around the streets with a runny nose; it seemed completely different from his current image of her.

"Gina, do you also know Mr. Finnegan?" Jeffrey asked in confusion.

She nodded. "I initially intended for young Aiden to treat my grandpa's illness. However, when I arrived at the medical center, I found out he already had an appointment. I never expected he would be here to treat Old Mr. Walker!"

Gina grinned and turned to Aiden, teasing, "You're probably clueless, huh? Meet General Luke Walker, one of the three God of Wars in the Wardom—a Five-Star General!"

Surprised, Aiden glanced at the old man in front of him. The revelation that he was the God of War caught Aiden off guard. It explained the subtle sense of menace he had sensed from the old man.

Gina observed with admiration as Aiden expertly inserted the needles into Luke, while simultaneously explaining the technique to Reece.

After finishing his explanation, Aiden took out three golden needles from his pouch. He then inserted them into the acupoints on Luke's forehead, specifically targeting GV 24, GB 15, and GV 23.

His words were directed at Reece and Luke.

Luke understood that Aiden's detailed explanations were due to his status. "Mr. Finnegan, I trust you completely with my treatment, and I have no more worries," he assured.

He continued, addressing Wesley, "Listen carefully. This illness has plagued me for half of my life. If it's cured today, please express my gratitude to Mr. Finnegan. And if anything unexpected happens, don't bother him!"

"Understood," Wesley replied respectfully.

Upon hearing that, Aiden's face briefly showed surprise before returning to calmness. He muttered, "This young man has good judgment."

"Mr. Walker, get ready!" Aiden instructed Luke, quickly preparing him. His hands moved swiftly, inserting a golden needle into Luke's chest at the KI 24 acupoint.

As the golden needle pierced Luke's body, a muffled groan escaped him, and he tightly shut his eyes. Beads of sweat instantly formed on his forehead. Despite being nearly eighty years old, he gritted his teeth and endured in silence.

Aiden held deep admiration for Luke. Being a doctor, he was well aware of the intense pain Luke was currently experiencing.

As the second needle was inserted, sealing the acupoint, Luke couldn't help but emit a sharp hiss from his mouth. However, he quickly silenced himself, refraining from making any more noise.
