Aiden Finnegan the Alchemist in Delcord novel Chapter 64

Jeffrey observed as beads of sweat dripped down Luke's face.

At that moment, Luke's hands were tightly clenched, and his fingertips had turned white from the strain.

Despite Wesley's stoic expression, his eyes were fixed on Luke with deep concern.

"Mr. Walker, hold on to your Spirit Core!" Aiden exclaimed. With those words, the third needle was inserted into acupoint RN 17.

Luke's tightly closed eyes snapped open, revealing bloodshot eyes that startled those around him.

"You scoundrels! If I can't take each of you down today, I'm not fit to be a Walker!"

"You despicable son of a b*tch! I lost countless comrades because of you! Come and kill me!"

"Luke, your actions have caused us immense suffering!"

"Your misguided command led us right into the enemy's trap! How did we end up surrounded?"

Luke's expression turned manic.

Without warning, he delivered a fierce and swift palm strike to Aiden. However, Aiden skillfully tapped Luke's GV-20, causing the forceful attack to vanish.

In response, Luke closed his eyes again and eased back into his chair.

Wesley, who had been with Luke since childhood, wore a fearful expression. He was acutely aware of the power behind Luke's palm strike. Yet, it was disconcerting to witness Aiden effortlessly neutralizing it.

Wesley's expression betrayed his fear as he witnessed Aiden effortlessly neutralize Luke's powerful palm strike. Wesley had been with Luke since childhood and knew the strength behind Luke's attacks. Still, the scene left him bewildered.

Little did Wesley know that Aiden had strategically sealed Luke's abdomen, preventing the activation of any inner energy that could worsen Luke's already fragile state. As everyone assumed that Luke had overcome his inner demons, he unexpectedly spoke again with tightly closed eyes.

"Gavin Carter, my friend, I promised to find you a wife. I'm sorry!"

"Avery Morgan, why don't you wait for my return?"

"Jeffrey, quickly fetch the medical kit. Riley Blake is dying. What should we do?"

At that moment, tears streamed down Luke's cheeks as he repeatedly called out the names of his comrades. Gradually, his eyes welled up with tears stained by the anguish of the situation.

Jeffrey observed Luke, tears flowing freely down his face. Even after all these years, Luke couldn't move on from past events, burdened by lingering guilt.

"Sergeant, wake up! It's all in the past. They don't blame you, and you didn't abandon them. You had a mission—come back swiftly!"

Aiden hurried over to Luke. He applied his substitution technique, placing his hands on Luke's back. Tapping on the two major meridians, GV and CV, he followed them from bottom to top. The energy rushed toward the crown of Luke's head.

Suddenly, black gas spewed from the crown of Luke's head. The room's occupants sensed an abrupt chill, accompanied by eerie wails and howls echoing in their ears.

Gina, fixated on the unfolding spectacle, recoiled at the spine-chilling noise. Overwhelmed with fear, she sought refuge behind Zachary.

He stood up and said, "Thank you, Mr. Finnegan!"

Wesley, noticing Luke standing, nervously stood by his side.

When Luke noticed Wesley's anxious demeanor, he smiled. "Mr. Finnegan has remarkable medical skills, and the medicine he provided is excellent. I feel like I could eat a whole cow now, haha!"

Jeffrey noticed Luke's obvious improvement, took his hand, and said, "Sergeant, after all these years of suffering, it's time to let go."

Feeling a surge of emotion, Luke replied, "I have let go; everything is fate."

"Mr. Walker, take one of these Corebuilders every fifteen days. Also, carry this jade pendant with you; it will benefit you." Aiden handed the Corebuilders and the jade pendant to Wesley at his side.

He continued, "Now, I'll remove the Grudge Aura, which may harm your body. You'll still need medication for a while. The main medicine is Corebuilder, and Reece will give you some additional medicine later."

He concluded, "This jade pendant is meant to clear any lingering hostility in your body. Make sure to carry it with you."

Luke accepted the jade pendant from Wesley, expressing gratitude, "Thank you for your help, Mr. Finnegan. The Spirit Energy in this pendant is quite powerful. It seems like a personal item from someone with significant spiritual cultivation, doesn't it?"
