Aiden Finnegan the Alchemist in Delcord novel Chapter 65

Aiden nodded and said, "Thank you, Mr. Walker."

"Mr. Finnegan, I understand that discussing money can be sensitive, but it's a two-way street. Since you're a martial artist, I'll demonstrate a set of palm techniques, and your ability to learn will depend on your skills."

After finishing his explanation, Luke stood up and walked to the center of the living hall. He showcased a series of palm techniques, starting off slow but gradually increasing in speed. The hall was soon filled with a powerful gust of wind, accompanied by the faint sound of a dragon's roar.

Wesley, who was standing nearby, marveled at Luke's hidden palm technique. Luke had personally crafted this set of techniques, known as "Reversal Dragon Scales," and it had never been shared with anyone. By mastering this palm technique, he successfully fended off intruders from other nations and safeguarded the prosperity of Wardom.

Aiden closely observed Luke's every move, sensing the mysteries and the lethal intent concealed within the palm technique. He carefully analyzed and memorized each motion. Once Luke completed the palm technique and relaxed, Aiden gradually closed his eyes and exhaled slowly.

"Mr. Finnegan, I'm eager to hear your thoughts," Luke said with pride.

Inspired by his experiences on the battlefield, he seamlessly integrated the palm techniques with the traditional ones passed down from the Walker Family. These techniques had remained unrivaled for years.

Everyone turned their attention to Aiden, who had closed his eyes. Just as Zachary was about to speak up, two hands intervened, one from Luke and the other from Gina.

Luke glanced at Gina, raising his eyebrows. He nodded and whispered, "Don't interrupt him; he's in the midst of enlightenment. It's impressive to achieve this at such a young age. I was merely demonstrating, but he has actually reached that state. His understanding is truly exceptional."

After a moment, Aiden stirred, his eyes still closed, and his hand began to move. Wesley was taken aback as he closely observed Aiden's movements, which closely resembled the Reversal Dragon Scales demonstrated by Luke earlier. Aiden's palm technique gradually became more similar to Luke's, showing potential to even surpass the original.

A strong wind once again swept through the living hall, accompanied by a faint dragon's roar. The intensity of the roar steadily increased. Standing with his hands behind his back, Aiden unleashed a fully demonstrated palm technique and let out a long howl towards the sky.

A mighty dragon's roar echoed through the air. Surprisingly, an illusory image of a real dragon appeared behind him, complete with a fierce and majestic dragon's mouth. As the dragon's roar faded, he slowly opened his eyes and muttered, "It's an incredible palm technique!"

"Wow! Kid, what have you become? It took me sixty years to cultivate the Dragon Shadow faintly, but at twenty-five, you've mastered it and even fixed the flaws in my palm technique. You're truly remarkable, absolutely exceptional!" Luke exclaimed, patting Aiden's shoulder with excitement. He didn't resent Aiden for learning his palm technique; in fact, he seemed quite pleased.

Aiden, showing respect, bowed and calmly expressed his gratitude, saying, "Thank you, Mr. Walker, for teaching me."

Luke acknowledged Aiden's good temperament, praising him for not being arrogant or impatient. He noted the rarity of young people who appreciate etiquette. Then, he generously offered, "If you learn the Reverse Dragon Scale, I will accept you as my disciple."

He enthusiastically anticipated the continuation of the tradition, stating, "Finally, with this palm technique of mine, there will be someone to carry on the legacy!"

Luke's genuine delight was evident. Even his sons hadn't fully grasped his self-created palm technique. Turning to Gina, he chuckled, "Miss Harper, do you have feelings for Mr. Finnegan? Haha!"

Gina blushed and glanced at Luke, "Old Mr. Walk..."

"Hahaha!" He laughed, saying, "I noticed you stopping Zachary from interrupting Mr. Finnegan's enlightenment just now. That's what I was referring to."

Gina explained, "The Harper Family had an ancestor whose enlightenment was interrupted, preventing him from reaching the pinnacle of martial cultivation. I was present at that time, so I have some insight into it."

Luke nodded, saying, "No wonder."

Soon after, Aiden excused himself and left.

Upon hearing this, Jeffrey burst into laughter, remarking, "Looks like Miss Harper is teasing you!"

"Mr. Finnegan, no more refusals. Let Zachary take you now!" Jeffrey suggested with a smile. He then turned to Luke and added, "Sergeant, now that you're completely cured, how about a celebratory drink? Haha!"

With those words, the two old men chuckled and walked back to Thatcher Manor.

Aiden found it hard to resist Zachary's persuasion, especially with Gina also urging him. Helpless, he let Zachary arrange for someone to send Reece back and reluctantly followed Zachary to the Thatcher Family's car dealership.

When they arrived at the car dealership, Zachary hurriedly guided Aiden towards a sleek silver-gray sports car. "Aiden, what do you think of this one?" he asked.

Aiden, eyes fixed on the sports car, casually mentioned, "The Aston Martin One-77 was unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in June 2009. Only 77 units exist globally, and Wardom has secured 5 of them."

Zachary beamed with pride. "Wow, Aiden, you have great taste! Are you a fan?"

Gina, looking at Aiden with a hint of surprise, hadn't expected him to know so much about cars.
