Aiden Finnegan the Alchemist in Delcord novel Chapter 92

Aiden didn't want Gina to develop any feelings for him.

Soon, they arrived at the Harper Family estate.

As Aiden gazed at the magnificent villa, he thought to himself, I will acquire all of this in no time!

Having been the former young master of the Finnegan Family, Aiden had visited many luxurious places. Although the Harper Family's villa couldn't compare to the Finnegan Family's estate in the capital, it still ignited his ambition!

Following Gina into the villa, Aiden noticed an old man sitting in the hall, reading a newspaper. When the old man saw the two enter, he slowly stood up and smiled, saying, "You're back, Gina. And this must be Dr. Finnegan."

"Yes, Grandpa. Meet Aiden Finnegan," Gina replied, nodding.

Samuel then began to assess Aiden. While he observed Aiden, he also examined him.

As Samuel scrutinized Aiden's appearance, he became increasingly surprised. He never expected Aiden to be so young. If it hadn't been confirmed by the Webb Family and the Thatcher Family, Samuel would never have believed that such a young person could possess medical skills, let alone be an exceptionally skilled miracle doctor!

Aiden observed Samuel's appearance. He was wearing a light-colored suit, and although his figure was not robust, given his straight posture and imposing face, he could easily pass off as a man in his fifties if not for his graying hair.

"Nice to meet you, Mr. Harper," Aiden greeted with a smile, his tone neither humble nor arrogant.

Samuel nodded and said, "You too, Dr. Finnegan." Deep down, he couldn't help but admire Aiden. As far as I know, many prominent figures in Keyland's business world feel a sense of uneasiness whenever they see me, but that is not the case with Aiden; he appears completely at ease!

What Samuel didn't know was that Aiden had no idea about the prestige of the Harper Family in Keyland. But even if Aiden knew, considering the great families he had encountered in the capital, it wouldn't come as too much of a surprise to him.

"Dr. Finnegan, forgive me for presumptuously inviting you here. I apologize for troubling you," Samuel politely said.

However, Aiden waved his hand. "Mr. Harper, there's no need to be polite. Miss Gina has been taking care of me, so it's only right that I come over to check on you."

"Grandpa, why are we still standing? Let's sit down and talk." Gina tugged on Samuel's arm, smiling.

"Alright, alright, let's sit down," Samuel said with a smile.

While Gina went to make tea, Samuel said, "Mr. Finnegan, if it weren't for you when Gina encountered the assassin last time, the consequences would have been dire."

"I just happened to be there at the time, Mr. Harper. Please don't mention it," Aiden said calmly.

Samuel let out a deep sigh. "The Harper Family often offends some foreign forces in our business dealings, so we have made quite a few enemies. Among the second generation of the Harper Family, none of them have proven themselves worthy. Gina, in terms of capability, stands out among the rest, so we had no choice but to let her manage the company. However, this, in turn, has made her a target. It's really unfortunate."

Aiden could tell that Samuel adored Gina, and his tone was filled with guilt towards her.

"I understand." Aiden nodded.

Samuel looked at Aiden again, hesitatingly asking, "Mr. Finnegan, if I may ask, how did you meet Gina?"

Aiden was taken aback by Samuel's question, but he still truthfully replied, "I got hit by her car."

He shared with Samuel the story of how he met Gina, and Samuel burst into laughter, exclaiming, "Who would have expected your first meeting to be so dramatic?"

Aiden felt a surge of emotions. Strictly speaking, he had Gina's car crash to thank for the power he possessed now.

Samuel glanced at Gina before saying, "Incredible! It started five years ago, and it has been worsening since then."

"Furthermore, during each attack, the pain spreads throughout the body, as if being bitten by insects. I believe the painkillers have been effective in the most recent attack," Aiden added.

"Although it may pose a challenge, it is treatable," Aiden replied with a smile.

Upon hearing Aiden's words, Gina breathed a sigh of relief. She didn't know why she had so much faith in Aiden, but she simply felt that he could definitely cure Samuel.

"However, we are still missing a few medicinal herbs," Aiden calmly stated.

Gina hurriedly asked, "Which medicinal herbs are we missing? I'll go buy them!"

Before Gina could respond, Samuel looked at Aiden in astonishment. "I can't believe you found out I once went to an extremely cold place! You truly are a miraculous doctor, Mr. Finnegan!"

Aiden smiled and nodded, saying, "You flatter me, Mr. Harper."

Gina, however, anxiously said, "So which herbs are we missing, little Aiden? I'll get someone to find them right away!"

Aiden nodded and then wrote a prescription on a piece of paper, saying, "Miss Gina, we only need to find these two medicinal herbs."
