Aiden Finnegan the Alchemist in Delcord novel Chapter 91

Startled by their simultaneous reprimand, Aiden quickly waved his hand. "Go ahead, then."

With that, Aiden returned to his armchair and resumed reading.

Since I can't solve the problem, I might as well not try, Aiden thought to himself.

Thinking that Aiden was angry, Angelina and Gina fell silent and stood there quietly.

However, Helena emerged from the medicine cabinet and said, "Please, both of you, have a seat. I'll make some tea for you."

Helena then walked into the chamber to prepare the tea.

The two women sat on the chairs in the hall and glanced at each other before quickly looking away.

Although Angelina did not openly agree with Gina's words, she pondered in her heart, Is it really my fault? Did I not treat Aiden well enough for Gina to seize the opportunity and steal his heart?

The moment a woman sets her sights on her enemy, she will stop at nothing to achieve victory!

She will not discriminate in her attacks, whether they are against humans or animals!

After Helena placed the tea on the table, Gina naturally picked up the teacup and took a sip. "Helena, it's only been a few days. Your tea-brewing skills have improved."

Helena beamed. "Thank you for your compliment, Miss Gina."

"How's business at the medical center recently? It doesn't look bustling to me," Gina asked again.

Helena nodded. "Not many people believe in traditional medicine nowadays. In most cases, they prefer to go to big hospitals, so there aren't many visitors."

"It's alright. Once Aiden's medical skills gain fame, things will improve," Gina said with a faint smile.

Upon hearing this, Angelina inexplicably felt a surge of anger in her heart. The way Gina spoke made it seem like she was the owner of the medical center, disregarding the fact that Angelina was the legitimate wife. She couldn't even begin to imagine how audacious Gina would be if she wasn't present.

However, Angelina looked around and didn't know what to say to Helena. After all, she knew nothing about the medical center and didn't know where to start, even if she wanted to strike up a conversation.

Seeing this, Gina had a smug smile on her face and turned to Aiden, saying, "Little Aiden, how about you come home with me?"

"To check on Old Mr. Harper's condition, you mean?" Aiden said irritably.

It was unclear whether Gina did it intentionally or not, but she always spoke ambiguously in front of Angelina, trying to cause a misunderstanding.

"Yes, yes, to check on my grandfather's condition. And he wants to meet you, too!" Gina looked at Aiden with a charming smile.

What a little enchantress! Aiden looked at Gina and sighed deeply in his heart.

"Let me go get ready." Aiden turned to Angelina, saying, "Angelina, I'm going to see Old Mr. Harper. Do you want to come along?"

In fact, Angelina really wanted to go with Aiden, but she didn't want to show weakness in front of Gina, so she said, "No, I have a job interview to attend later. I'll stick around for a while and then leave."

Aiden nodded. "Alright, but I don't think you need to find a job. The results will be out tomorrow."

"You left Gray Enterprise?" Gina turned her head in surprise and looked at Angelina.

Angelina glanced at Gina but didn't say anything.

Chapter 91 Brief Encounter 1

Hearing Aiden's response, Angelina felt a warm and joyful sensation inside. I'm sure he cares about me more!

Upon hearing this, Aiden fell silent. What Gina said wasn't entirely wrong. In fact, Aiden was now uncertain about completely severing ties with the Gray Family because Angelina had occupied a place in his heart for three years!

Seeing Aiden's silence, Gina smiled and asked, "What? Did I touch a nerve?"

"No." Aiden shook his head.

"You know, there aren't really any issues between you and Angelina. It's just that Angelina has many admirers, so she has a strong personality. But if she truly cares about you, she will change," Gina said with a smile.

Aiden looked at Gina in surprise and asked, "Just moments ago, the two of you were arguing in the medical center, and now you're defending her?"

"Tsk." Gina chuckled. "Those are separate matters. I don't particularly hold any grudges against Angelina. I just feel sorry for you because she doesn't treat you well."

"Thank you." Aiden nodded with a faint smile.

Chapter 91 Brief Encounter 2

"To be honest, Angelina might not stand a chance against me!" Gina looked into Aiden's eyes, not hiding her admiration for him.

Aiden felt the intensity in Gina's gaze but quickly said, "Keep your eyes on the road, Miss Gina!"

"Coward!" Gina muttered under her breath but still turned her head to focus on the road.

Aiden pretended not to hear and quietly sat in the passenger seat, but deep down, he had mixed feelings. Could it be that Gina had truly developed feelings for him?
