Alpha’s Betrayal Luna’s Revenge (Samantha) novel Chapter 100

Ellie’s POV

On the way to the palace, I sat in the back of the car with my grandma. “I don’t remember you, or my life as Krista,” I told her honestly.

“I’ll help you,” she said gently. “When you come to visit me, will show you pictures of your mom and dad. I will show you pictures of how much you were loved and cherished.” She offered. I guess she had looked at those pictures frequently over the years.

Grandma wanted to know everything about my life. She looked sad that I grew up away from a pack. But she was glad I’d found a new home. “My mom did more than adopt me; she loved me. She encouraged me to be the best version of myself.” I smiled at the memory of my mom.” She may not have given me life, but she gave me a life.

When she died, I felt alone, but having Kiki filled that void.

It was when Sam came into my life that everything changed.”

“Who’s Sam?”

“Sam is Caspian’s mate, Grandma,” Reagan said from the driver’s seat.

“Sam’s mate and his mistress did unspeakable things to her. She was the first shifter I met, and she was hurt badly. Nearly fatally. After her physical recovery. We became a family. Then, for her safety, she had to live inthe human world, which was where she found him. He was in bad shape and had amnesia.”

“Sounds tike another long story. I am glad Sam found you.

If you hadn’t met her, you would never have met Reagan, and you would never have come home to me.” She was right; all this began with Sam. “I will thank the goddess for bringing Sam into your life.”

“Grandma Sam suffered, and I mean, she suffered. Even if it brought us back together, I would hate to think that a higher being had a hand in that.” I told my grandma. She sat quietly for a while. “Is Sam okay now?” Grandma asked.

“Ithink so. Caspian and Sam disappeared a few days ago, and we haven’t seen them since.”

“I will ask the goddess to bless Sam and Caspian with happiness in their future,” she said. I can support that.

When we returned to the palace, my grandma demanded that she speak to Lincoln alone. I was reluctant, but she was certain that she would be safe and that she could get him to talk.

While we waited for her to return. Reagan and I talked about our future, and more importantly, our family. “How did you know I was pregnant?” He knew before Kiki. “I have superior senses. I am one of the most powerful men in the land, you know.” He said, bragging to me.

I scoffed. “You still needed me to save your ass.” He grabbed hold of me around the waist, causing me togiggle. “In more ways than one,” he said, before kissing me and touching my stomach, giving me an ear-splitting grin. “Ours,” his excitement made me smile.

“Ours,” I repeated. I can’t believe how quickly | got pregnant. Before he could carry on with his show of affection, Grandma appeared.

“He’s ready to talk now,” Grandma told us.

“How?” Reagan asked her.

“Ellie, your grandfather was my fated mate. I loved him with all my heart. We lived a happy, full and happy life.

That was until he was killed before you were born.” She took a deep breath and leaned against a wall. “I was offered a second chance mate. I was willing to accept the mate bond as it was a blessing from the goddess. But my mate wasn’t.” She looked at the dungeon door. “He wanted power more than he wanted me. He never rejected me, though. He used to come to my pack frequently, using me to satisfy his needs. That’s when I told him about your abilities. He was very excited, and I thought he was finally going to accept our mate bond.” She paused. “I was heartbroken and needed comforting.

But Lincoln went back to his old ways.” She then smirked.” For the first time, that mate bond has come in useful.” She smirked.

I couldn’t believe the words coming out of her mouth.

Lincoln was her second-chance mate. “That bastard,” I said, not able to stop the words from leaving my lips. He isgoing to suffer.

I bit my lip and clenched my fists as I followed Reagan into the dungeon. Lincoln was tied to a chair. “Talk,” Reagan demanded. Lincoln looked over my shoulder at my grandma.

“Fine. It was me. I did it. I planned to have you kidnapped as a child. Your parents murder was a bonus, especially the Luna Queen,” he smirked. Reagan punched Lincoln in the face. Lincoln spat the blood out of his mouth. Then he smiled.

“I was planning on having the girl calm the Alpha King and Luna Queen so I could kill them while they were relaxed.

With the royal family out of the way. I could manipulate who sat on the throne, and when I was powerful enough, l would ascend.” Lincoln yanked against his restraints.” That’s why I wanted you out of the way, Reagan. You weren’t falling for Evelyn’s advances. But your brother. He was easily manipulated and easily distracted. My big plan was working too. That was until you returned with that rogue bitch.”

I could see how worked up Reagan was getting. “You didn’t act alone. Who helped you?” Reagan demanded.

Lincoln smiled, flashing his blood-stained teeth. What the hell does he have to smile about? “I’ll tell you what you want to know when I walk out of here.”

Reagan snarled. There was no way he was considering releasing Lincoln. “So you would like to walk out of here,”He grabbed Lincoln’s face. “But you’re not going to. You can die and take that information with you. I will figure it out on my own.”
