Boss, Your Ex-Wife is Unreachable Now! novel Chapter 348

As for Mr. Windsor, his looks and charisma were undeniable, but he was too cold, like a walking iceberg. When he wasn't smiling, his presence was downright intimidating.

And though Miss Sheffield didn't seem afraid of him, she clearly loathed him. That was the most fatal blow. When a woman openly shows her distaste for a man, he’s already lost, no matter how handsome he is.

That was precisely Mr. Windsor's situation.

Just as she was thinking this, the caregiver heard footsteps. She turned to see Beasley walking out of the hospital room, a solitary and rather pitiful figure.

She sighed softly. In a love triangle, there was always a loser.

As she turned back, her eyes caught a manila envelope on the storage cabinet near the door. It looked like the one Mr. Windsor had been holding earlier.

Curious, she picked it up. It was thick with documents. She walked over and handed it to Willow. “Miss Sheffield, Mr. Windsor left this behind.”

He must have left it intentionally for her.

Willow took the envelope, wondering what kind of trap Beasley was setting now.

“Waller, I’m a bit tired. Could you help me back to bed?” Klein said. His legs still felt weak.

Waller nodded, and the caregiver, ever perceptive, took Willow’s place, helping Waller guide Klein back to his bed.

Willow was left alone on the balcony with the file.

She looked down at the envelope, its color deepening in the fading light of dusk. She opened it and pulled out a stack of papers.
