"Yeah, this woman's scary. She looks like she just came out of a mental hospital. Did you really invite her here?" one of the women sneered.
"Get out!" Gideon suddenly shouted irritably.
"Did you hear that? He told you to get out!" the woman clinging to Gideon sneered at Giselle.
"Get out, all of you! Get the hell out!" Gideon roared as he shoved the woman beside him away.
Holding his forehead, he closed his eyes slightly. His head throbbed, and his body felt weak and powerless.
The endless chatter, bickering, and whining of these women annoyed him. Their suffocating perfume annoyed him. Their ridiculous questions annoyed him even more.
Yet what disturbed him most of all was Giselle's presence. She stirred the storm inside him that he had numbed for so long.
He had found a "comfort zone" where he no longer needed to feel such torment, but the moment she appeared, he felt as if he could not breathe.
"Alright. That's enough. Leave quickly!" Eddie urged, stepping in to drive the women away. "Mr. Grayson has already told you to get out. Stop bothering him and go!"
The woman who had been sprayed with pepper spray cried out in pain and urged the others to take her to the hospital.
The women shot Giselle hateful looks before storming out of the living room. They cursed under their breath as they climbed into the waiting car and left the villa.
