Breaking Mr. Cold (Giselle and Donovan) novel Chapter 370

In his drunken haze, Gideon sprawled on the couch, holding a scantily dressed woman in his arms.

The two women beside him looked like wannabe models or hired escorts, showing off their curves with long legs and plunging necklines. Their pale, seductive bodies were barely covered by scraps of fabric.

One woman pressed her fiery red lips against his in a kiss, while another caressed him with sultry eyes. A third equally alluring woman poured him more wine, speaking in a sweet, coy voice as she tried to please him.

He slumped against them, his face red from too much alcohol. His unfocused eyes and lazy smile gave him the air of a fallen king drowning in excess.

As he toyed with the women in shameless intimacy, he looked both degraded and pleased. He was so absorbed that he failed to notice Giselle standing just a short distance away.

At that moment, Eddie stepped forward and reminded him, "Mr. Grayson, Ms. Holt is here."

The words made Gideon stiffen slightly. He blinked, raising his heavy eyelids, and through his blurred vision he caught sight of Giselle.

The women followed his gaze and turned toward her.

For a long moment, Giselle stood motionless. When she finally gathered her composure, she slowly walked toward the couch and stopped about six feet away from him.

The sight of his shameless decline struck her dumb. Her chest ached with a stifling heaviness as she stared at him.

"Mr. Grayson, who's she?" one of the women asked.

"Don't tell me she's here to join us." The second woman sneered, giving Giselle a disdainful look. "Mr. Grayson, didn't you say it would just be the three of us? Why invite a fourth?"

Bleary with drink, Gideon's eyes fell on the woman he had yearned for unceasingly. Yet instead of joy or surprise, a cold laugh escaped him after a brief silence.

"You came?" Gideon sneered, pulling the woman beside him closer. His eyes glinted with mockery as he slurred drunkenly at Giselle.

"What are you doing?" the woman shrieked in pain, reaching out to strike back. But before she could, Giselle's hand flew across her face, landing a sharp slap on her heavily altered features.

"You crazy bitch! Are you out of your mind?" another woman shouted as she jumped up to help.

Giselle reacted first. Reaching into her bag, she drew out the pepper spray she always carried. Without a flicker of hesitation, she aimed and released it into the woman's face.

The woman screamed as the burning spray seared her eyes. She clutched her burning, bloodshot eyes and crouched on the floor, crying out in pain over and over.

The remaining two women froze. Seeing what Giselle held, none of them dared act recklessly again. Instead, they turned desperately to Gideon.

"Mr. Grayson, you need to make her leave! She's here to cause trouble. What is she even doing?"
