Vivienne wasn't interested in arguing with the Holts. In front of the aggressive Renee and the proud Anne, she was nothing but a broke woman from the lower class. She already had nothing to her name. Now, she had lost her dignity as well.
Holding back tears, she tried hard to shake off Sebastian's hand. "Let go of me! I'm leaving! I'll get an abortion today. I'm going to the hospital now!"
"No way!" Sebastian was a naive man. Feeling attached to her, he refused to let her go.
Turning around, he snapped at Anne, "Anne Holt, this has nothing to do with you. You'd better not get involved! Didn't you get knocked up with Donovan's child to force him into marriage? Are you jealous of us because we're happy, while you've been dumped?"
Anne was triggered when he hit her where it hurt. "Are you happy? You're an idiot who's been fooled. Do you believe her words—that her baby is yours?
"She's nowhere near as good as those young models you slept with, and she's calculative. It's fine if all she wants is money, but she's dreaming of marrying you by carrying your child. How delusional!"
After she was done with Sebastian, she went back to taunting Vivienne. "Ms. Lockwood, I'll be frank with you. Sebastian is a good-for-nothing living a hedonistic life, and he's a manchild. Without his family's support, he can only make money by doing food deliveries!
"We won't stop him from sleeping around, but he cannot decide who he's gonna marry. By the way, you might not know this, but we've decided on his future wife—the daughter of a property firm owner. If everything goes smoothly, they'll get married at the end of this year. If you want, you could crash the marriage with that bestie of yours when you're heavily pregnant…"
Sebastian had wanted to fight with Anne after hearing her degrading comments, but Vivienne freed herself from his grasp and made a dash for the door.
