Marselle was livid when Gideon manhandled her. She tried to break free from his hold, yet his grip was like a vise. "Who the hell are you to Giselle? Who gave you the right to put your hands on me? Are you out of your mind? Unhand me!"

Gideon tightened his hold on her jaw and growled, "Don't forget what I just said. Stay the fuck away from Giselle in the future!" With that, he shoved her aside, sending her sprawling onto the lawn.

Marselle shrieked. While pushing herself to her feet, she shot daggers at him. Then, all of a sudden, she sneered. "Oh, I know who you are now."

She continued fearlessly, "If memory serves, you're the spare she keeps on the side, aren't you? Giselle's married now. Her husband follows her everywhere.

"Even if someone picks on her, she has her husband to stand up for her. Who the hell do you think you are? How dare you threaten me, you psychopath!"

Gideon's eyes became bloodshot when she hit a nerve. Glaring at her, he spat out, "Stop running your mouth in front of me. If you don't want to die, shut your trap and get out of my sight!"

Marselle massaged her aching arm and couldn't stop herself from sizing him up. The two of them were in the garden outside the restaurant with only a few dim streetlights around them. She couldn't make out his face clearly, but his sharp, well-defined features and tall, well-built body stood out even more in the dark.

Marselle gawked at him. Her eyes were glued to him until she almost forgot how roughly he had handled her just a moment ago. She had to admit that she was a huge sucker for good looks.

If the man who had seized her was some random, average guy on the street, she would've screamed at the top of her lungs, made a scene, and sworn to throw that creep straight into a police station. However, the man before her had an undeniable advantage in the looks department. So much so that the harsh things he'd said and the way he had acted didn't seem that unforgivable all of a sudden.
