The joyful chaos slowly subsided. Liu Shan finally stopped crying and lifted her head, her face puffy but radiating immense happiness.

She was surrounded by smiling, congratulating females. They were now meticulously planning how to take the best care of the three pregnant females: Bai Ling, Su Qinglan, and now Liu Shan.

She remembered her beast husband, Wang Ren, who was so strong and kind. They had been happily waiting for their cub.

They were simply walking in the forest one day, gathering medicinal flowers for her. They were ambushed. Evil Ferocious beasts had suddenly surrounded them. Many of them.

Wang Ren fought like a true warrior. He was fierce. He killed many of the attackers, protecting her with his own body. But there were too many.
